Had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was wonderful. We loved the freshly cooked bite size steak a lot. Nice variety of food. However, the breakfast closes at 9:30 which might be a bit early for some travellers.
Everything was clean and the reception was helpful. The refreshment bar was wonderful each evening to help us wind down for the night.

The hotel is themed as some sort of tropical paradise resort and hence the hallways and inner courtyard are entirely outdoors, exposing the areas to the natural elements.
Even given how small the rooms were, the AC was not very effective. The refrigerator was also not very cool.
About half of the locks on the lockers in the public bath were not working.
The size of the public bath, number of elevators, and size of the breakfast area were not proportionate to the number of rooms in the hotel.
Staff were not particularly rude yet also not particularly welcoming either.

The room was clean with an private bath tub on the balcony. Private bath wash great and the refreshment area on the 14th floor was awesome overlooking the city. Would definitely stay here again next time I visit Fukuoka.

Breakfast is very bad

I used to love staying at this hotel, and this was my third visit. Unfortunately, the service has changed a lot, and they no longer provide the value that guests are paying for.
Here are my main concerns:
The rooms are very small. This makes them inconvenient for travelers, especially families. If you have children, you'll likely need to book two separate rooms because the hotel doesn't offer rooms with three beds.
Breakfast used to be this hotel's biggest strength, but that is no longer the case. This morning, I paid for breakfast and found very few options. It was mostly cabbage salad, with no steak or other substantial sources of protein. Considering the price, I don't recommend paying for the breakfast.
Most Japanese hotels provide a dining or eating area where guests can enjoy takeout meals, but this hotel no longer has one. They used to, but it has been closed for some reason.
Overall, staying at this hotel is no longer worth the money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here anymore.

Really convenient spot. Walking distance from Hakata station. They have a spot to leave your luggage after check out if you’re still exploring the area. Breakfast was decent. I didn’t use the public bath that was available but it seemed quite popular with other guests. Laundry facility was good. All in all great. Would recommend staying here.
