My go to hotel in Hakata

Just in front of Hakata station and super conveniently located, yet has feelings of resort. They have a nice outdoor heated swimming pool with a bar.

Nice place. Direct connection underground to Hakata train station, and metro. Very modern, and clean. The best part of our stay was thst we got a corner room - sooo much natural light! Bathroom was super spacious, and modern. Check-in was fast since we prepaid through hotels.com. Check-out was easy and fast too. Limited breakfast options, but the good part is thst they feature local regional dishes in the breakfast buffet! All food items are rapidly replenished too, so that’s another plus.

Convenient hotel with rooftop pool and natural hot spring near Hakata station

When I was looking for accommodation in Hakata for New Year's Eve, I booked a relatively new hotel near the station. As soon as you leave the Tsukushi exit of JR Hakata Station and cross the pedestrian crossing, you will notice a unique glass-walled and green building in front of you.
After checking in at the modern entrance decorated with plants, we walked into the spacious room, which is over 30 sq m of wall-to-wall glass, and the shelves, TV, sink, bath and toilet were all new and simple but designed.
On the top floor, there was a natural hot spring in the indoor bath and sauna, and a heated pool and Jacuzzi outside. I felt that it was a unique way of spending time in this hotel while soaking in the heated pool under the cold sky on the roof.
On New Year's Eve, we invited several singers to the lobby to watch the New Year's Eve Countdown Live for free, served canned beer and juice for free, and had a breakfast buffet the next morning on New Year's Day with several osechi dishes in addition to Hakata specialties.
In addition to the hotel's restaurant, several restaurants are open around Hakata Station even on New Year's Eve, so I booked a restaurant nearby for dinner and had authentic motsunabe and sesame mackerel.
Anyway, it is a very convenient location for Fukuoka and Hakata sightseeing, and although it is not at a generous level in terms of service, it is necessary and sufficient, and it was a little expensive because it is New Year's Eve, it was a generally satisfying stay. There are many other hotels in Hakata, but I think it is one of the most well-balanced.
