Not a hotel, not a hotel, surprisingly recommended.
I was able to enjoy the hot spring at leisure. It is away from Gero Station, but when I called, a shuttle bus arrived shortly after. It's probably hard to walk because it's halfway up the mountain, but it's convenient because buses run often.
I checked in at 2 o'clock and immediately went to the bath. The observation bath on the 8th floor was relaxed, and after that I also laddered to the bath on the 2nd floor. The cable car you use on the move is a bit of an attraction and fun. The quality of the springs was good, and I was surprised to find that my fingers were as rough as red gills, but I had gotten better after two days of hot springs.
Both dinner and breakfast were buffets, but I couldn't eat them all because of the extensive menu, but the roast beef was too good to be refilled.
The souvenir corner on the 1st floor was very full, and there were more items than souvenir shops in Gero Onsen Town, which was fun.
The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the building itself is old but it was quiet and pleasant.

This hotel is a top choice for Gero with very delicious and healthy buffet dinner and breakfast. Outdoor Onsen without of this world has breathtaking views!!! The staff was extremely helpful and spoke perfect English. The property is well located with easy parking. The Gero onsen is currently ranked number 2 best onsen in Japan and we can tell with the quality of water from this hotel. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Wifi is superfast. It checked all the boxes for a great stay. We had a wonderful time and would return. Excellent service all around from Front Desk to Restaurant. Thank You Very Much for the great stay!!!

Japanese style room with tatami mats and futons. Very clean, comfortable and stocked with all necessities and amenities. Kimono, slippers, toiletries and supplies.
Two public baths, both with outdoor and indoor soaking spaces. Clean and we'll maintained.
All employees very polite, helpful and professional.
Dinner buffet incredible. Wisd variety of foods. Slightly expensive, but worth it.
