We arrived late and had free ramen for supper. Helped ourselves to some ice cream after onsen too. There was a shelf of comics like Demon Slayer available for reading too. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The third time. Dormy Inn Stable After Renewal

It was only renewed in January 2025.
This was also the third time I used it on a business trip to Kitami.
I didn't notice any major renovations other than the automatic check-in/out machines at the front desk, but the sauna became self-contained (once every 20 minutes), and the hot springs were heated and hydrated, but the PH was high (9.37).
◆ "Breakfast (1800 yen)
The local menu remains the same,
・ Grilled pork belly with Kitami onion and Abashiri clean pork
・ White curry (white curry made with cream sauce, fresh cream, milk, etc. that originated in Hokkaido)

・Crab rice
・ Scallop fries, etc.
On the whole, it's not special, but on the other hand, the breakfast at Dormy Inn is a small-bowl buffet plus a local menu that's stable everywhere.
In addition, the customer service was polite and energetic, and this time it was a stable Dormy Inn including the room and bath (sauna).

Overnight rest stop in Katami

Nothing special about this hotel, as it only serves as a comfortable overnight place or business hotel.
It’s in an easy to find location and clean but ensure to lower your expectations for anything but somewhere to sleep. The room was pretty compact but not the most cramped room I’ve stayed in Japan.
Breakfast was the best thing about this hotel. Although not huge in selection, each dish was super tasty and pretty decent quality.
A good place to rest your head but nothing more.
