Location was perfect as it was very close to the JR station. The local food market was 15 min away. Room size was ok, not too small. Nice staff but didn't speak English. I was asked to pick a time for room cleaning. The furniture looked quite new and I could smell the renovation. The website said no WIFI in the room. Actually, it had. I thought the website had not yet been updated. The major problem was insufficient illumination.

Spacious and comfortable single room!

I stayed in a standard single, but it was spacious and comfortable.
It was very close to Kochi station and a short walk away.
There were many restaurants in the neighborhood, making it easy to find dinner.
The hotel building itself feels a bit old, but it was clean and orderly and I liked it.

The location is great and the rooms are not too small so it's comfortable.

I stayed here for 2 nights for business.
It was a typical business hotel, and I had no complaints and was able to stay comfortably.
The room was spacious and clean. However, it seems that they use cheap shampoo and body soap, so if you are sensitive to odors, it is better to bring your own.
There is free wifi, but to be honest it was so slow that it was unusable. I hope that this will be improved as a security alert will be displayed every time you connect.

Surprise me!

Accidentally booked this hotel cause I have dinner and drink alcohol at kochi city, booked with great deal, check in after dinner between 21.00 and I thought it’s typical Japanese hotel but when I entered to my room I was really surprise the room are huge for typical single room in Japan, location also only a minute walk from kochi station, the room had everything you need, bed are huge and light are awesome, huge window also, and I usually pay this kind of single room with high price in Japan but this hotel had great deal! This will be my favorite hotel in kochi and definitely will come here again!

Efficient...

I stayed here for 4 nights in April. I was in Kochi and this hotel was a reluctant booking. It was difficult to gauge from the website and even the booking came through in complete Japanese.
I checked in at about 9 pm. No english at the front desk, but surprisingly quick and efficient check in. The smiling receptionist had a card in english to explain what she had to. They were even expecting me and held out a slip with my name as I walked in. Well done! Many large chain hotels would fail to do a check in like that.
First impressions of the room was that it was woefully small. The bathroom was a modular unit. My head was 3 inches away from the ceiling in the bathroom. (I'm 185 cm). I wondered how I would live here. This was my first trip to Japan, and I am used to larger rooms.
Over the next 4 days, I realized how supremely functional the room was for a business traveler. In no way did the bed feel small for my frame. The bedsheets and duvet were of fantastic quality. (Yes, beats a lot of fancy 5 stars). Every little thing in the room was just fine and adequate. Oh, lets not get started about that fancy toilet seat.
Breakfast was a bit thin, and for a foreigner, a bit inadequate.
The hotel is situated on the main road with several convenience stores nearby. Nightlife and the Kochi Castle are walkable.
Check out was also speedy, no fuss at all.
I was a bit wary of staying here, i'm glad they were able to change my mind. For the price and service offered... excellent!
