It was a lovely hotel.

We used the Japanese and Western style room with open-air bath on the 1st floor and the pufferfish cooking plan for dinner.
Due to the stormy weather, the corrugated shelves were not visible in the rough waves, and the scenery was disappointing, but the slimy hot springs were great and my skin became smooth many times.
The morning after the rain came down, I took a walk nearby and first heard about something called [the oni's chopsticks] that I saw on the other side of the corrugated shelves.
The staff at the front desk and lobby were very smiley and courteous to the foreigners who responded to the meal, and I was able to spend a pleasant time. I really wanted to revisit it.

A bit of of the way, it's a dead town at night and all restaurants closed by 830pm when we arrived. Quite a spooky dated resort. The only saving grace was huge rooms, and the private onsen for couples. Front desk couldn't speak a word of English.

I didn’t want to use public hot spring, but hotel staff asked me to pay hot spring tax. After negotiation, hotel finally accepted that no using, no tax payment.

Great view for the sea view room. Private onsen not very convenient if us a raining day cause need to walk out if the building. As we came back late a bit late and most local restaurant need to book in advance. The hotel is kind to help us to reserve a table for us. The restaurant actually was full but the room was big enough to share a table with the local.

The service and attention was great

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a trip to Kyushu from Aichi Prefecture.
Before going to the hotel, my wife fell while sightseeing and injured her arm (later found out it was a fracture). When my husband checked in, he asked for ice to cool my wife's injury, and they provided us with lots of ice free of charge.
Although it was quite painful, we went to bed with the ice cooled, and thanks to them we were able to sleep soundly until morning.
Also, our seat for dinner the next morning was in a place where we couldn't see the ocean, but a customer with a view finished eating first, so a staff member (a young foreign man) kindly guided us to a seat with a view. It's nice to see little considerations.
It was a really nice hotel.
