A wonderful 3-day stay at Novotel Nara
"My 3-day trip to Nara was complete thanks to Novotel Nara! This brand new hotel features a very modern decor and is an absolute gem with stunning design. A huge plus is their complimentary shuttle service from the hotel to the station, which also includes a drop-off point near Nara Park. It’s incredibly convenient and helped me save a lot on transportation costs.
I was allocated an incredibly cozy room with a beautiful canal view where I could see cherry blossom trees. The room is equipped with a smart electronic screen that allows you to order room service, request amenities, or set a morning alarm. Most importantly, it displays the real-time crowd status of the hotel’s Onsen, which is exceptionally useful.
As for the hotel lounge, the food is okay for light snacks, but the service from the lounge staff specifically was pretty standard and nothing special. On the bright side, the breakfast was of high quality and featured some unique local Nara specialties that I tried for the very first time. It was a wonderful culinary experience!
The hotel’s common facilities and spaces, like the rooftop terrace, are definitely a major highlight. They even have massage chairs and an Onsen. Even though the water wasn't quite as hot as I preferred, it still provided a perfect way to relax and soothe my muscles after a long day of walking around the city, all while offering a peaceful vibe away from the crowds. Overall, I really loved this hotel, and if I ever return to Nara, I will definitely stay here again!"

Clean and convenient for sightseeing. You shouldn't expect a public bath.
The breakfast buffet was beautiful and very delicious.
I chose this one for sightseeing in Nara because I am not good at old facilities.
I wasn't expecting breakfast as it was a casual hotel, but the Japanese food was very good.
It was May and the weather was nice, so we had a drink on the rooftop terrace after we arrived. The atmosphere was good and relaxed.
The only negative point is the public bath.
It is beautiful, but it is better to think of it as a small sento instead of a public bath. You can see how crowded it is from the room, but it's too small for the number of rooms and it's not relaxing at all. It was jam-packed.
I don't think I have any complaints unless I take a room with a bath instead of a shower and go to the public bath.
It is a short taxi ride from Nara Park and is convenient for sightseeing.
Tsutaya Bookstore and a small family mart are about a three-minute walk away. I forgot my socks for a change of clothes, which helped.
Overall I'm very happy. If I have another chance, I will use it.

Novotel Nara - best choice to vist Osaka- Kioto - Nara area
i was in this Hotel 1 year ago, and this year i decided to back for 3 weeks.Hotel in special way appreciate loyal Accor members what far king thanks to GM Mr. Kaida.

i recomend this Hotel to all visitors in Kito-Osaka area, this Hotel in in middel Ypu can very easy get from Nara to Osaka or Kito becouse train station is just next to.
this Hotel combine Japan and European style , so everyone will be happy to stay there, next to is biggest shopping mall in Nara .
Hotel have shuttle bus to main train station, city center and local train.

i recomend this Hotel to all visitors in Kito-Osaka area, this Hotel in in middel Ypu can very easy get from Nara to Osaka or Kito becouse train station is just next to.

I was sick of the bad arrangements at the breakfast venue.
The hotel stay itself was nice and quiet.
However, the breakfast venue is too badly arranged. My meal card went missing while I was out eating. I had run out of hand wipes. I went out to eat on the way, but I was exhausted and had to go back to eat something I hadn't eaten yet. I felt very sick. The number of meals is also smaller than at other restaurants. I felt bad this morning.
