Had drank finished my room complimentary bottle water. After dinner before going up to room, I went to the front desk to request for a bottle of mineral water. Was shocked that the front desk staff told us to drink from the tap. If don’t like can buy from vending machine.

Needs a lot more maintenance

Collect your teabags and "free" toiletries in the lobby before going to your room. The carpets in the halls were dirty and the whole place smelled of cigarettes and human odours. The room was small but adequate - we used one bed to open our suitcases and slept in the other. The room reeked of stale cigarettes and other odours; fortunately we could open a window and the room was then OK after we got back from dinner. Multiple technology failures unrepaired - who would have expected a noisy ticking battery clock because the built-in electronics had failed? Breakfast was one of the better ones experienced on this trip. The area was better than average for an evening walk.

Very uncomfortable with the phone answering and the way the hotel works

Answering the phone is very unpleasant. I booked my stay on the day of the event by mistake for smoking and just called immediately to tell them I wanted to quit smoking, so I couldn't use any language or honorifics and had to wait on hold for a very long time. A reminder that if you book online, you cannot change it and it will be cancelled, in which case there will be an 80% cancellation fee. No other hotel would charge a cancellation fee for changing rooms.
I was not sure with other hotels, but I chose this one because of the large rooms, but I will never use it again. Other hotels are much more impressive and pleasant to stay in.
