From check in to check out the staff, room, and amenities were top notch, as you would expect from the Japanese service industry. For those that are looking to stay here but don't speak the local language, there didn't appear to be English speaking staff on hand. But it is Okazaki. Not really a tourist destination. The 10am checkout time was way early for my needs, but they do give extensions for a fee. If I were to ever find myself in Okazaki and staying near the JR line (as opposed to "downtown"), I would absolutely stay at My Hotel Okazaki again.

Cheap and clean.
You stay here all the time and I went to Okazaki.
Breakfast sticks, cheap is attractive.

Thank You, My Hotel!

I arrived for my 2 week stay in Okazaki expecting to stay with my son. Well, given the size of his teeny apartment, there was no way way that was going to work, so checked Trip Advisor for hotel info. MyHotel was a perfect solution. 15 minutes from son's apartment, across the road from the JR Station, near a post office (ATM) and grocery store. Clean, neat, modern, beyond reasonable. For being right next to the train station and the hundreds of trains passing through daily, amazing how there was absolutely no noise from the train traffic in my room. I was in room 911 - like anyone could forget that - and was lucky because my floor had washers and dryers, so I was able to keep up with some laundy. Internet on the first floor only, which was fine. I got to meet travelers from other countries while cruising the 'net and that was cool. The staff was very professional and very nice. Since my son is likely to be in Okazaki for some time, I will likely be back to My Hotel again. Good experience, all around.

nice new business hotel next to JR station

New hotel, nice, quiet room, friendly and helpful staff. WIFI only at the lobby level.
Perfect if you visit the Toyota HQ or the Toyota factory but you don't want to stay in Toyota city.
You can book it online only by japanese sites as of April, 2012 or by e-mail.
There is an onsen bath and sauna with fantastic city view for free.
Much cheaper than similar hotels in Nagoya.
The nepalese restaurant (2km from the Hotel) worth a visit too.

Great Value

My husband and I stayed for 10 nights at this business hotel. We found it very good value with extremely friendly and hepful staff, both at reception and in the meals area. The location was good for us but be aware it is not convenient for everyone especially without a car. It is located 2mins walk from the train station which we used regularly. We highly recommend this hotel.
