The hotel is very good with great proximity to the ski  place. The room is clean and cosy with great views. And the onsen is very good that it had long opening hours, we can go after the ski to relax. 
However, it would be better if the guest had a choice of whether the room can be made everyday or after we left. And it will be even better if more variety of restaurants/ cur-sine  can be provided rather than just buffet.

Great ski-in-ski-out resort with fantastic hotel and ski staff.
Newly renovated with great atmosphere and superb cleanliness.

We stayed in the summer season, and we could take part in activities like riding the gondola up the mountain, hiking, marshmallow roasting, the hot spring, etc. Many more activities were offered, but some cost extra.
As a foreign resident of Japan (English speaker), I would have appreciated a little more bilingual support. Conversational Japanese is just fine, but when I asked for more detailed information about the property and activities, they could only provide papers and maps in Japanese. I would have liked some bilingual pamphlets and maps.
Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to family and friends. No restaurants are nearby, so consider making dinner and/or breakfast reservations.

Excellent even when it was only for one day.
Bath and pool was great, also very superb breakfast.
A lot of activities were offered.
