Modern hotel in Osaka’s heart

Location is excellent. Staffs are very friendly. Breakfast was great. Automated toilets make it a modern hotel.

Misleading Photos, Claustrophobic Rooms – Avoid This Hotel

⚠️ If you have claustrophobia, stay away from this hotel!
This hotel completely ruined our Osaka trip. The photos are extremely misleading. The room we received looked nothing like the pictures. It was much smaller, darker, and incredibly claustrophobic. The windows were frosted and couldn’t be opened, making the room feel like a closed box. If you suffer from claustrophobia, I honestly don’t think you could stay here comfortably.
From the moment we checked in, it didn’t feel like we were arriving at a hotel. It felt more like entering a prison. Instead of welcoming us, the front desk staff immediately started reading out a long list of rules. They showed no warmth or hospitality and came across more like prison guards than hotel employees. It left a terrible first impression.
This was one of the most disappointing hotels I’ve ever stayed in, especially considering how expensive it was.
Here are the main problems we experienced:
* There is a smoking area directly below the rooms, so cigarette smoke and smell were constantly noticeable.
* The room did not feel clean.
* The front desk staff were unfriendly, unhelpful, and rarely smiled.
* The room was completely different from the advertised photos.
* Instead of a real double bed, they simply pushed two single beds together.
* Breakfast ends at 9:00 AM because the housekeeping staff also work in the breakfast service. That is unacceptable for a hotel at this price.
* The breakfast room was freezing cold.
* If you want your room cleaned, you have to leave your room key at the front desk before 11:00 AM. I’ve never experienced such an inconvenient system.
* The air conditioner remote and the TV were entirely in Japanese, with no English instructions or user guide.
* The mini fridge barely cooled anything.
* The location wasn’t good either. There are much better hotels in Osaka for the same price.
We genuinely felt misled by the photos and the overall presentation of this hotel. Nothing about our stay justified the price we paid. Instead of enjoying our honeymoon and exploring Osaka, this hotel became a constant source of stress and disappointment.
I would never stay here again, and I cannot recommend it to anyone. Save your money and book somewhere else.
