Perfection at Four Season’s Osaka

Stunning newer property in a good location. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with the warmest hospitality. Shout out to Gary, the front desk person, who made us feel extremely welcomed. The room is gorgeous. The views (31st floor) were stunning, day and night. The bathroom was exquisite, with high end finishes, a large tub, a rainfall shower, and a separate water closet with private sink. The bed was as per usual extremely comfortable and plush. The mechanized blinds, the thoughtful lighting and the wood/stone used throughout the room made it feel so warm and inviting that it was almost hard to leave!
The Spa, Gym and Pool were on another level. Running on the treadmill overlooking the city of Osaka will be an experience I’ll be chasing for a while. The pool was gorgeous, with incredible views of the city. The Spa offers an onsen, a cold plunge pool and Sauna. Extremely relaxing after a long day of travel or exploring the city. We used these amenities daily and made the entire stay incredible.
We ate at Jardin, which was actually very good. Sometimes hotel restaurants are average, but we thought it was fantastic, and welcomed after eating Japanese cuisine for 9 days straight. The amuse bouche was a lovely treat. They also make all their bread in house, which was reinforced when we ate at the bakery in the mornings for breakfast. It was so good. The truffle brioche and chicken sausage sandwich were incredible.
As for location, it may not be in the center of things but it’s close to convenient subway stations, and walkable to Osaka Train Station. That was helpful after arriving from Kyoto via Shinkansen.
Osaka is wonderful city. It surprised us. The Four Seasons made our stay simply perfect. We are already wanting to go back. Book now. You won’t regret it. See you next time!

Perfect stay! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Super helpful and professional. The hotel was beautiful! Our room was so spacious and had all the amenities. This was in such a convenient neighbourhood close to Osaka Station where we discovered a Time Out Market. So many restaurants in the neighbourhood and close to all the buses and trains. Would definitely stay here again.

Gensui floor and Sabo lounge

Had 3 glorious nights in a premier tatami king room with access to the amazing SABO lounge. It was an unbelievable experience! No words can do it justice!
Check in for these specialty rooms is on the Gensui floor. It was private and personal. The rooms are beautifully appointed with the elegance Four Seasons is known for, but with a traditional Japanese style allowing one to immerse themselves into the culture… on an extremely luxurious scale!
All the Gensui rooms are on the 28th floor, same floor as the SABO lounge. The floor has dark undertones and low lighting, giving a calm tranquil vibe. Our room had tatami mats, floor to ceiling windows with beautiful views of Osaka. The bathroom had a deep soaking bathtub and rain shower, and of course a Japanese toilet. Kimonos were there to use throughout our stay as well as comfy fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Western PJs were also available on request. The bed was particularly firm, however with a mattress topper provided on request, it was very comfortable.
The complementary inclusions on this floor are amazing. On arrival we were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and Japanese sweets. Each morning we were met with the most delicious Japanese breakfast. We are talking fine dining level! We didn’t bother going to the main restaurant which was available to us, but we couldn’t resist what we were experiencing on level 28! The afternoon teas and evening aperitifs were also superb. All menus changing daily. Our taste buds were on a field trip! Alcohol tasting including gin/sake were also complimentary.
The SABO lounge also had complimentary activities daily. We participated in a painting class and the calligraphy session. So much fun!
All the staff at SABO were just fantastic. So polite, respectful and attentive. Apart from Arjun, we unfortunately didn’t get all their names but they each deserve recognition. The chefs in particular were incredible with the taste, quality and presentation of all their dishes. Special shout out to the manager at SABO Monica, who made our stay perfect in every way.
Not often does the General Manager go around introducing themselves to guests. FS general manager Gianni made sure his guests were welcomed and spent time chatting with us, adding that extra personal touch.
So if anyone is thinking twice about Four Seasons Osaka, just book it. You will not regret it. The Gensui floor is just beautiful and a wonderful blend of traditional and luxury. Thank you Gianni, Monica and the team at Four seasons Osaka SABO lounge for such a memorable stay.

A Memorable Birthday Stay at Four Seasons Osaka

I stayed at Four Seasons Osaka for six nights during the first week of June to celebrate my birthday with friends and family. This was not only my first trip to Asia, but also my first stay at a Four Seasons property. I decided to splurge a little to commemorate a new chapter in life, and I am so glad I did.
From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The breakfast team at Jardin greeted us each morning with such warmth and genuine hospitality that it quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. The housekeeping staff also did an incredible job keeping our room immaculate throughout our visit.
One of the most memorable experiences was the mother-daughter massage at the spa. Sumi-san and Nozomi-san were absolutely phenomenal. After days of exploring Osaka and walking countless steps, they somehow found every knot and area of tension. Their skill, professionalism, and care left us feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. I truly felt like a brand-new person afterward.
If you are planning a stay at Four Seasons Osaka, I highly recommend making time for a spa treatment. And if possible, book with Sumi-San or Nozomi-San you will not regret it. Their expertise elevated an already wonderful stay into an unforgettable one.
Thank you to the entire Four Seasons Osaka team for helping make my birthday celebration so special. I definitely will be back!
