Good clean comfortable overnighter

In a good location
Small inn but comfortable, very clean environment and well maintained
We had the tatami room for 3 adults and it was very spacious and quiet despite what others say about thin walls and noise, maybe coming from the nearby train track but not overnight
6 parking lots in front of the 2-storey building
Walkable to most sights but the shops close very early and few eateries around
It has an unmanned front desk but instructions were clear and simple
Onsite hot bath
Good simple hearty breakfast with a view to the garden
We sat through a mild tremor in the apartment on June25 morning unscathed

Very clean ryokan with friendly staff

My friend and I stayed here one night. It was a little difficult to find, but with some help from strangers, we were able to find it. The ryokan is maybe 10 minutes from the main shopping street, and it probably took us 15-20 minutes to walk to the ryokan from the train station. We arrived a few hours before check-in, but we were allowed to leave our bags at the ryokan. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The whole ryokan was very clean with simple designs and furnishings. The bathroom in our room was tiny, but that's pretty standard in Japan. It included a toilet, sink, and shower, and face cleanser, soap, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. This was my first time staying at a ryokan, so I'm not used to the beds and had trouble sleeping soundly. The walls of the ryokan aren't super insulated, so in the morning, you can hear people stirring and getting ready. But I didn't have any issues with too much noise from the nearby train tracks. Breakfast was included with our reservation and consisted of a piece of salmon, a small salad, rice, and miso soup.

梅之屋酒店距小樽地铁站和运河风景区都不远，步行可到。
酒店订的是榻榻米房，传统地铺，干净卫生。有早餐，还不错。餐厅窗外是庭园，非常漂亮。
对这家酒店很滿意。

离小樽站差不多15分钟距离，离运河差不多10分钟，最近的便利店5分钟左右。老板是中国人，服务挺好。酒店房间比较小，可以尝试下榻榻米。早餐种类相对单一，不过晚上可以买些酒到餐厅区小酌。

就像回到家一样，房主是一对北京夫妇，对中国人很友好，我们一家4口住的，订了2个成人，房东主动为我们小孩加了被子，比日本那些冷冰冰的民宿强多了，有早餐，有泡澡屋，房租也很干净，下次到北海道还定他家的
