Dantokan Kikunoya nalazi se na 5 minuta vožnje od stanice JR Ogoto Onsen i nudi termalnu kupku. Besplatan prijevoz s kolodvora dostupan je na prethodni zahtjev. Sobe uređene u modernom japanskom stilu imaju tatami (podove od pletene slame).

Accommodation where dogs are allowed!
It is a dog friendly inn with a sign dog.
I liked it because I could eat it in my room, so I went with my dog every year.
You can enjoy it deliciously from the aperitif to 〆.
The menu is different every year, but it's quite belly-wrenching lol
It was the same Mr. Nakai every year, and I was glad that he remembered my name.
It was amazing to see the open-air bath and dog bath in the room which was renewed before and made me feel even more comfortable!
Accommodation costs are now close to 50,000 yen per person, but the facilities win.
There are 9 kinds of various side dishes for breakfast, and it is fun!
It is a recommended inn with a panoramic view of Lake Biwa behind it.

It's a bit expensive to comment on a room meal with a dog.
I used it with a bath and room meal because it would be expensive. It is difficult to understand the building without local knowledge, so we recommend turning left at the Ogoto Onsenguchi and flanking the entrance when going south where you can see the sign.
There are eight rooms where you can eat with your dog. It's a battle for meal times, so you should decide when you book. Even the Delicious Small Kaiseki was a little too much, including the dog portion. Drinks and additional orders can be ordered from a dedicated tablet located in the room.
The room is pre-renovated and the bed is low and easy to use, but you want a fence to prevent dogs from entering. The hot water is Ogoto Onsen . The large public bath has an open-air bath in a small space. There are many rooms with baths, so the public baths are not too crowded, if not reserved. Actually, it was used by at most three people. I don't think there will be a gender swap.

Dog and Family Accommodation
Nakai-san and the rest of the staff were very friendly to dogs and children, and the attention to detail was impressive. For dinner, we had a room meal and enjoyed delicious local food such as Omi beef and Baumkuchen pork.
We also took a photo with our signature dog, Mametaro, when we checked out. Overall, I was able to spend my time with a sense of relaxation, feeling more like an old-fashioned warm inn than the stylish inn that has become popular lately.

It was the best!
All of the staff (including the mascot dog, Mametaro) love dogs and pets!
I felt the homely atmosphere and their kindness, and was very satisfied with the attentive service, delicious food, hot springs, and room.
I stayed in the Konon room, which was barrier-free with no steps, very clean, spacious, and the sofa and bed were at a low, appropriate height so that it was safe even if my dog jumped off, so it was very comfortable.
Of course, there are also cages and other facilities for pets.
I'm really glad I chose Kikunoya.
I hope to visit again.
