Unusual and eye opening
In a society where the apartments are very expensive and small, I can understand why the place is very popular with young japanese. Staff doesn't speak English at all, which made the overall experience more fun - there are formal rules on bath times, buffet and informal etiquette on noise, clearing tables after playing board games / drinking etc.
Even my kids enjoyed the experience as they played board games and explored the new homely environment.

There was a lot of hair on the floor, so I had to walk on my tiptoes.
The ceiling was covered in mold.
The air conditioner was covered in dust,
and I don't think you could use a hair dryer underneath there.
Also, I think the outerwear provided in the building is reused.
They didn't wash them one by one, and people would put them back on the original hangers after using them.

Highly disappointed がっかり！古いせんと！
少しリフォームしたかんじ！若者が多いので 全然ゆっくり出来ないせんと！ラブホテル見たいなかんじでした。温泉じゃないですが。高い、食べ物おいしくないです。ざんねんですけど おすすめには出来ないです！
This place used to be called as Gokyoraku, meaning a Sento spa. The water here is not hot spring or what you call in Japan as onsen. I used to come here almost three times a week when it was originally a Sento. Now it's called Ofuro cafe utatane and such an unusual place. They just reformed or renovated the lobby and the rooms here but the spa, bath tubs inside and outside plus the sauna are all old built year 1997. The rooms here are like cheap business motel, tiny like you can imagine. The food set was cheap and the price you pay for this Sento is expensive. This place gets crowded with young Japanese couples who are so irritating to watch as they are noisy, flirty with each other . Come on this is like a cheap motel with a sauna and big bath tubs and not onsen/ hot spring. I don't recommend at all. Waste of money.
