Incredible view, service, and food!

We stayed here in November 2025 for two nights and had an amazing time. The view alone makes it worth staying here, we woke up early on our first morning to an incredible sunrise over the lake. We had one dinner and two breakfasts at the hotel and the food was amazing. Our dinner was a 5 course French style meal with the most beautiful place setting and cutlery. Service here was very high and they were grateful for our business. We were welcomed to this hotel with gratitude each time we walked in the door!

The view of Lake Tazawa was amazing

This is a small hotel on the south side of Lake Tazawa in Akita Prefecture, the deepest lake in Japan. Being very close to the golden "Tatsuko Statue", we toured the statue and the beautiful surface of the lake before relaxing in the hotel's ground floor cafe.
There was only one previous customer in the cafe.
We sat in a special seat with a view of Lake Tazawa. I had an iced coffee and briefly looked at the lake. Inside the store and the lake were quiet & calm and very relaxing.
With 180-degree views of Lake Tazawa and the surrounding mountains, this hotel cafe is recommended for visitors to Lake Tazawa.

Hotel right next to Tazawako lake! Amazing view and well equipped room! You have everything you need. Dinner and breakfast was very delicious. Staff is very helpful and kind! Hope to visiting again.

A French style Onsen Hotel

It provides French cuisines in the evening yet Japanese breakfast. It's quite a brand new hotel almost unnoticed by tourists. We only see very little traffic in the hotel, at all time. However, it provides a quiet environment, different from large scale onsen hotels which normally has tourist groups and lot of noises, in the hallway and in the onsen pools. I find this a value for money choice, and there are indeed very few to choose in the lake area.
