Comfortable hotel, good location

The hotel is set in Tachimachi district, a few steps from Kyoto Imperial Palace. I took a taxi because it was a bit far away on foot from Sendai station and it was a bit difficult to carry a suitcase weighing over 20 kg, but the taxi was easy to catch in front of Sendai station and on the way home. The subway station is nearby, but it's also fun to stroll around the arcade and shop.
When I made a reservation for this hotel, word of mouth commented that I could smell a ramen shop on the ground floor, so I asked for a room on the back of the street upstairs and they responded. There was no smell at all after all.
I stayed in this hotel for two consecutive weeks. They also cleaned the house every day and there was room for two large suitcases, although they were stacked on top of each other, which helped. You don't have to bring all the amenities you need from abroad.
After all, I was happy because I never went out to eat toast, coffee, soup, boiled eggs, including breakfast.
The reception was also good. He was also very kind to lend me a corner tap when I needed to recharge my phone, digital book or camera battery.
Every time I have returned to Japan temporarily for the last dozen years, I have used clean chain hotels with excellent cospa.

No frills business hotel, nicely located half way between Sendai Station and the river. Helpful reception who only spoke Japanese but used his iPad to translate all the instructions. Didn’t stay for the boiled egg but location and price were perfect.
