Kannon Onsen
This is a hot spring ryokan nestling quietly in the site of about 1 million square meters. Hot spring was dug according to Kannon (goddess of mercy) revelation as he appeared in one's dream. It has own original hot spring source and the water is strong alkali simple spring of pH 9.5 that feels as soft as silk. It is good for the health and also drinkable. There are flowers to enjoy every season, sky full of stars, self-source spring that's always plenty and self-cultivated farm. All the guest rooms use Japanese cypress and local Japanese cuisine is served.

A room bath is enough.
From the road sign, go up the narrow mountain road.
The room bath is also a cypress bath and is a natural hot spring, so hot water flows all day.
I went to the public bath, but I left immediately because the temperature of the open-air bath was low and there was no height.
The food was also great with lively fish.
We received a lot of souvenirs when we checked out.

The spring quality was particularly good.
I stayed in the Pygmalion building, which has an open-air bath in every room.
I wondered what pH 9.5... felt like, so I took a dip, and it immediately became slippery! It felt like a layer of skin had been peeled off. It felt great.
They also said it was drinkable, so there was a cup in the open-air bath in my room. I tried drinking it, and it was soft and easy to drink.
In addition to the indoor and open-air baths, the large women's bath also had an American spa consisting of a jacuzzi and jet bath, and I enjoyed bathing there.
The meals were made using this hot spring water, and I received some as souvenirs.
Even the cosmetics were made with this hot spring water. They were placed so that you could try them.
It seems to be gentle on both the skin and the stomach.
The corridors in this building are also covered with tatami mats, so you can walk barefoot. The tatami mats in the room were clean and I was able to spend a comfortable time. Even the standard room was spacious enough to relax.
Meals are also served inside the building, so it's easy to get around. The food, made with hot spring water, is easy to eat Japanese food. The shrimp rice pot was delicious. There's enough for seconds.
The day-use bathing facilities are also open until 4pm. After 4pm, there is a large public bath for overnight guests and an open-air bath in the room. I was completely absorbed in the hot springs. The quality of the spring water is excellent, so there's nothing to complain about. Hot springs, hot springs, and more hot springs.

Memorable starry night at the outdoor onsen with water that will smoothen your skin.
Sumptuous dinner and breakfast spread for both adults and children.
Must visit the public bath at night to catch the starry sky in the outdoor onsen pool. The public bath is also equipped with great massage machines that help soothe muscles aches.
Greatly reliable hotel shuttle service which is needed as the staff said taxi won’t come into this area.

Amazing hot spring and dinner
We just stayed one night, but we had a great time.
You could get a fee bus from the station.
After checked in, you could go around outside and farms. The room that we stayed has private hot spring in the room. That was fantastic! We could use anytime and don’t have to care about others.
Lobby and hall way are so nice as well. You can find traditional Japanese toys.
And dinner was amazing. They are all tasty not salty it was perfect! Raw fish Sashimi and beef we could have great Japanese food.
About hot spring, it is like a floating in the lotion. After bath you may not need to put lotion anymore.
念願の観音温泉でした！聞いていた通り、温泉は化粧水のようで、お食事も最高。味付けが優しくてどんどん食べられました！
スタッフの方も優しく、また再訪いたします！
