I really enjoyed our stay. Close to the station. They had a free shuttle to the Snow Monkeys in the morning. The room was huge and very comfortable with a nice bathroom and separate toilet. Had a fridge with a freezer section. Had a small balcony. Large windows on too sides. Access to an onsen. Staff were lovely. Very nice place, I highly recommend.

BEDBUGS AND NO SUPPORT FROM STAFF

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! found bedbugs at 1 am while sleeping and went to the front desk just to find a woman who told us with her translate that we brought those insects to her hotel and that we should go to the hospital to treat our problem (referring to the insect bite)
Unfair treatment, dirty place and no one helps!! Everything bad with this hotel..PLEASEEEEE DO NOT COME HERE

Located just within 3min from Yudanaka station, Raki Onsenryokan is run by a Chinese family. As a quiet town on its own, no one was tending to the reception when I arrived, after ringing the bell, a lady came down to help with the check in - very straightforward. I believe the family stays in the same building as they said if we ever needed anything, we could just ring the bell at the reception. Obviously I had booked a room too big for a solo traveller as this was the only room left as "non-smoking". Toilet and sink are at two different parts of the room which was a little inconvenient. Ryokan offers free drive (15min) TO snow monkey park, but not return, so please cater at least 35min to walk from park exit to the bus stop. Ryokan also provided a hearty breakfast, overall for the price paid it was a decent stay!

It was like Chugokujin was doing it, and the food was Chinese and we ate in the cafeteria. He gave me an apple on the way home. I'm hungry. I have some craftsmanship, but it's not good because the materials are cheap
