Surfer vibe with a Japanese touch

The guesthouse is located a 3 minute walk from a supermarket (an actual supermarket, which aren't that common in Japan) and 7 minutes from the beach. The guesthouse itself is sparkly clean and has a fridge to keep your stuff in and small but well equipped kitechen, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and recommended many things that were spot on. Do recommend.

Noisy house with an unpleasant owner lady

Only one old shower for the entire guesthouse, which is also outside the house.
Poor WI-FI which works only in the common area.
Check-in only between 3pm-7pm
Owner locks the house and does not give the keys, so If you are late you have to wait for her to open it.
House is old and everything creaks.
when trying to sleep you can hear literally everything that's going on in the neighboring rooms, or in the toilet.
Someone, while cleaning, threw my factory-packaged sweets into the trash.
Lady who owns the house is an unfriendly person, from the first message and during my stay the atmosphere was still not friendly. I had to wait until 3pm the next day to check-in because as the owner replied check-in only between 3pm-7pm. She said that her place is cheap so I have to follow her rules, so despite paying and texting about the problem in advance, I had nowhere to sleep and the cost of the first night was not compensated in any way.

Wonderful experience in Shirahama

This guesthouse is the perfect place to stay if you are planning a visit to Shirahama. Close to the beach, comfortable and very clean. The small size of the guesthouse makes it quiet and cozy. Moreover, the owner is extremely friendly and will help you in all she can.

Perfect stay!!

Beautiful renovated guesthouse; after having tried other options in town this is clearly the best deal, very nice owner, clean and calm, located just a few minutes from the beach and nice restaurants. Thanks for the great stay!!

Incredible stay!!

What an amazing time I had here with Takami and her Guest house
She is so friendly and welcoming , I had such a great time and would recommend to absolutely anyone. There's a mixed room with super comfortable bunk beds as well as typical Japanese style private rooms.
The location is far from the train station however the train station itself is far away from the town. The guest house is within 5minutes walking from the bus stop, the beach and a supermarket.
Full kitchen and spacious living area too
You won't regret staying here :)
