What a wonderful experience

This was an amazing experience. We opted for a western bed... Our room, 501, was beautiful, facing the lake. It includes a large bedroom, a large living room, all japanesse style. we also had a balcony with a private hot bath over looking the lake. On the roof there is an open air hot bath.
We were served a beautiful Omakase dinner and a very nice Japanese breakfast.

How subtle.

I don't think it's definitely worth the price when asked if it's quality enough for the price.
Good point
・There was not much to worry about in terms of functionality.
Bad points
· The building looks like a blatantly renovated old resort or something,

Because it was used from the Kanto area, the comparison becomes Hakone and Izu Ryokan Hotel,
I think there is a part of it that can't be helped, but I thought there would be other options if we were to put this amount out.
The attitude of the employees to serve customers is a very polite impression, so I think it is a waste.

Absolutely amazing experience. The room had a Onsen bath on the balcony overlooking the lake. The service included dinner and breakfast in a private room with amazing local food and a lovely waitress who spoke decent English and explained every dish to us. There is also a lovely open rooftop Onsen. The room is large and very comfortable like an apartment. All of the staff were amazing. Fantastic

A Inn inside a Inn!

An open-air bath overlooking Lake Suwa, Hida furniture, comfortable bedding in the Japanese space surrounded by plaster walls, and the inn's signature dishes. The refined Japanese food based on local production for local consumption was very delicious. I felt that there was a way to enjoy not only dinner but also breakfast deliciously and with my eyes.
The care of the staff was also pleasant, and it was an inn I wanted to visit again.

When it comes to high class Japanese amenities, there is a sliding scale of quality, with the nearby sister hotel Shinyu just one step below Sui Suwako. This place is excellent, and I mean it. It might even be too fancy for your tastes if waiting for someone to retrieve your shoes before you go out makes you anxious. But if you're looking to relax and have a table side dinner and breakfast prepared for you, and if you like spacious rooms and private onsen, you will enjoy staying here. This is the pinnacle of Japanese comfort and accommodation in Kamisuwa.
Oh, and when you're leaving? They'll even provide a free car to take you to the station.
