May Mommy Friends Girls Trip
I thought the room and hospitality were good.
However, the bath in the room can only be used by one person, so it seems small for couples.
The screen on the balcony where the room and bath are located is see-through, so it would be better if it was not see-through.
As it was a cheap tour, I expected the size of the spiny lobster, but the speed of serving was too fast, and I wish they had served it a little more slowly to match our pace. It seemed like the next person was being prepared, so I was bothered by the fact that there was a sign for the next person after the meal.
I was able to choose my yukata, the sweets in the room were delicious, and after the futon was made, the cup was changed for a new one, and they bowed deeply to see me off, so I had a pleasant stay.
I wish there was coffee for breakfast, and since the sweets in the room can only be purchased at the hotel, it would be better if there was a notice about that.
I've written a lot, but overall I'm satisfied with the shuttle service.

It is a relaxing inn
I visited with my wife using a discount package from a travel agency that I found in a newspaper ad.
The ad emphasized "splendid red snapper and spiny lobster," but what was served at dinner was a little (or rather, quite) shabby. But it's okay! It was the travel agency that emphasized the splendid red snapper and spiny lobster, not the inn. I compared the inn's website with the photos in the ad, so it was within my expectations for the price (hit the nail on the head), and I was able to taste what I was looking for, so there was no problem at all.
More than that, the hospitality of the restaurant staff and the young people who seemed to be part-timers was wonderful, and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable meal. Of course, the food was delicious enough.
The large public bath, the open-air bath, and the quiet Yumigahama Beach were all wonderful, and it was a relaxing stay.
It wasn't the best experience of my life, so I'll give it four stars, but considering the cost-effectiveness, five might be enough.

Excellent location but the rest is an average
The Ryokan is located on a edge of Yumiga-hama beach and ca't be any better. There is an direct access to the beach from the hotel. The view from 5th floor room was excellent. There was a terrace and outside bath on the terrace although it was not Onsen.
The facility was relatively new, well maintained. Room was very clean and other facilities too. Dinner was not as good as expected to the price of about JPY25,000 per night although it was not bad. The way dishes were served was kind of in a rash. TI was not the case that waitress watched how we eat and adjust a timing when they served next dishes. Wine list was like none existent. The list of Sake was small but not bad. Overall, value of this Ryokan is the location but the rest is at average considering the price of about JPY25,000 or about $250. I would stay there again but will have dinner somewhere else.

Great Outdoor Onsen with High Mineral Water
The water used in this onsen is really good and you can tell when it really stings your eye and is salty! There's wonderful views of the stars at night and sounds of the waves in the distance, there's a sauna too!
This Ryokan is quite new I think & the staff are really welcoming and friendly and someone available with a decent understanding of English too. They accommodated a late pick up for us at Shimoda station & dropped us off the next day too :)
Stunning views of this beautiful cove from our room, the room had adequate space but the outdoor bathroom did mean we had a few flies and mosquitos if the door is left open. We had a top floor room with a bathtub, so nice views of the sea.
Location wise, it is a little out of the way so perfect if you want a day of relaxation & not much exploring or if you have a car & can drive to the main Geo sites. To get to Ryugu caves you can get a bus and change at Kisame, but the buses to Ryugu cave only come once a day at 10:30 from Shimoda Station & leaves the to return at 14:30. Alternatively you can walk 40mins to Kisame through the really pretty seaside town of Touji.
Dinner and breakfast was pleasant and served in the banquet hall, we had lobster sashimi which was delicious!
