The shower head should be replaced and hot water was just luke warm.

Use for day trip baths

I'm happy that the day trip bath is open from 7:00 to 22:00, and that it flows directly from the source.
Bathing is 400 yen, rental towels (bath and face towels) are 200 yen. Only bath towels can be turned over to the front desk when leaving and face towels can be taken home.
Hot springs are not as hot as I expected, although it shows a temperature of 100 degrees F. However, after the bath, the heat does not dissipate. It is a pleasant hot spring with floating hot water flowers.
The dressing room is small, but you can take a bath with peace of mind because it is not equipped with a lockable locker and hairdryer.

Friendly helpful staff,but that was the best part: the hotel has a drab exterior with extremely dirty windows within a run down locale opposite a disused/derelict building. The inside was functional but uniformly tired and dated. Our room was clean enough but the bedding was stained, the sheets and towels were old and thin. A simple warm air blowing heater kept us comfortably warm (no aircon but not needed in late October). The water went cold after one shower but was hot again by the morning. I reported weak wifi and was given an in-room wired hub which worked; except that on both evenings the hotel’s internet connection dropped out repeatedly. We made do for a couple of nights but wouldn't consider returning.

This is an old hotel and unfortunately it shows. Futons are thin and really old so the bed was really hard even though we had five of them piled up. Ventilation doesn't probably work correctly or it is unsufficient - we had to keep our window open and onsen roof was wet and molded. The hotel is clean and staff friendly. There is not many restaurant options in the area (many restaurants were closed). Good parking facilities.

Not really close to the Mashu station by foot so if you dont drive, book for station pick up in advance. Good hotel with a lot of christmas decor.
Hot bath house was open 24 hours. Books and manga are for lending. worth for a short stay if need to transport between south and north Hokkaido.
