Loved it! Just wish the toilets were bigger and there was some space for packing and unpacking. Would definitely recommend, location is fantastic!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They had a common area on the first floor that held reusable dishes and utensils. They had a fridge and laundry as well. The rules were great and kept noise and the dorms at a minimum.

The only good thing about A16 Hostel is its convenient location. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was far below Japanese hostel standards. The dorm smelled like sewage, and clothes were scattered everywhere. I even found used underwear on the floor as soon as I stepped out of the elevator. The shelf above my bed was dusty and still had belongings from previous guests, making me doubt it was ever cleaned. I stayed in a dorm on level 2, but the only female showers were on level 6 with the lift only going up to level 5, I had to climb another floor. There are only three female bathrooms and the sink area is shared with all genders. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, there are much better options in Tokyo.
