I contacted the hotel because there was a problem that required their response, but they did not deal with it in time. Because of that delay, the situation became impossible to resolve and I ultimately could not use the accommodation as planned. This caused me unnecessary stress, wasted time during my trip, and additional inconvenience that could have been avoided if the hotel had responded properly when the issue first occurred.
What disappointed me even more was the way they communicated afterward. Their responses seemed focused on explaining their own position rather than acknowledging that their delayed handling had already caused the problem. I felt as though the responsibility was being shifted onto me, even though I had been the one left without the accommodation I had booked and paid for.
Mistakes and unexpected situations can happen, but what matters is how a hotel responds when a guest needs help. In this case, I did not feel that the hotel took sufficient responsibility or showed an appropriate level of urgency. The whole experience left me with the impression that guests may be left to deal with the consequences when something goes wrong.
For that reason, I would not stay here again and would advise future guests to be cautious, especially if their booking requires any commun

Great inexpensive place but very small no place to sit except floor so if you are older makes it slightly more difficult. Location A plus if your looking quiet small town to experience the culture. Staff very friendly.

Overall, it was a fine hotel and very reasonable for the low price I paid. Guests should be advised that it’s father away from the nearest train station than most Japanese hotels—around a 12-15 minute walk—which can be a little difficult if you’re carrying lots of luggage. I do also wish there were a few more amenities—conditioner to use in the bath/shower for instance.
The owner was very prompt in responding to messages and I have no complaints about service. If you’re an introvert like me and prefer contactless check in/check out, you’ll enjoy the set-up here quite a bit.
