Affordable and Convenient
If you are looking for clean, affordable lodging in Tokyo with convenient access to the city’s east-side neighborhoods, Narita Airport, and public transit, this hotel is a solid choice. We stayed here for one night as a family of four, and it met—and in several ways exceeded—our expectations. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is very clean, well run, and comfortable for a good night’s sleep.
The hotel attracts an international clientele, and the reception staff were consistently polite, welcoming, and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
Rooms are simple, compact, and efficiently designed with standard-sized single mattresses on the floor. The bathroom is tight but functional and includes all the essentials. Convenient power outlets are accessible from the nightstand and the room has a small refrigerator. If you are traveling with a pile of luggage, you will need to get creative with storage due to the limited space but you will be fine with a couple standard-sized bags.
For families, connecting rooms are available. Given the small room sizes, the connecting layout works well and feels like one shared space.
The location is a major plus. The hotel is about a 200-meter walk from the south exit of JR Uguisudani Station, making it very convenient for getting around Tokyo and especially for access to Narita Airport. You can take the JR line one stop north to Nippori and transfer to the Keisei Skyliner Airport Express, reaching Narita in under an hour from the hotel entrance. With light luggage, it is also possible to walk about one kilometer directly to Nippori Station and avoid a train transfer.
The surrounding neighborhood offers plenty of dining options, including good restaurants and local bars, some of which stay open late. Despite nearby nightlife, the hotel itself was very quiet, and we had no trouble sleeping.
The rooftop deck offers an east-facing view of the Tokyo skyline, which is a nice bonus.
Breakfast is served in the ground-floor restaurant and follows a simple, self-serve format. You turn in a breakfast ticket or pay at the register, receive a tray with either rice or toast, and then choose from fresh vegetables, homemade dressings, scrambled eggs, sausage, along with a yogurt and cereal bar. It felt fresh, straightforward, and satisfying.
The hotel also provides easy access to nearby neighborhoods such as Ueno, with its park and museums (< 1 km), and Asakusa (1.7 km), home to Senso-ji Temple and many shops. Kappabashi (Kitchen Town) is also close by (1 km) and easy to reach on foot or by a short bus ride.
Overall, this is a practical, well-located hotel that offers good value for travelers who prioritize cleanliness, convenience, and affordability over luxury.

Everything was great! The hotel is super clean, peaceful, and quiet. Location is excellent, very close to a train station. They provide amazing free amenities (toothbrush, paste, hairbrush, cotton swabs, slippers, bathrobe) and have guest laundry facilities. Staff are exceptionally polite and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious.
The only minor detail is that reception hours are from 7 AM to 10 PM. While it seems a bit late to open, it didn't negatively impact us because a staff member kindly helped us an hour before official opening time. Highly recommended!

Very clean room. Good AC .Blackout curtains exist. Kettle/fridge and 2 small bottle of water provided. Close to metro station and 2min walk to Family mart .

A perfectly fine choice if you are looking for a simple, no-fuss stay. The hotel was clean and pleasant, though the room itself was on the smaller side and quite basic. There aren’t many amenities, and the service is very hands-off—not in a bad way, just highly efficient and minimalist. It’s an ideal 'in-and-out' base if you just need a straightforward place to sleep without any faff.
We didn’t try the restaurant/cafe, so I can’t comment.

It was great the staff was very friendly and invited me to the mobile shrine event on my first night which was amazing
