Hotels you'll want to visit again

This is a resort hotel I've always wanted to come to. It is easily accessible in 2 hours and 15 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo, and from there in about 30 minutes by affiliated taxi. The food is delicious. You can feel the chef's commitment to ingredients. I want to come back.

A Must for Music and Art Lovers

An unusual and delightful property. The owner uses the hotel as a repository for a vast collection of contemporary art, and it’s super fun to explore the sculptures and paintings throughout. The lobby boasts an amazing high quality stereo system with actual vinyl albums that the staff will put on, and the sound is exceptional (pro tip, sit in the middle of the room to optimize the acoustics). Some of the staff speaks English better than others. A related point is that much of the hotel is only labeled in Japanese – making it challenging to operate light switches, find the ladies’ entrance to the spa, etc. The hotel has an onsen. The hotel has a large repository of kimonos (“yukatas”) and the staff will come to your room and tie the obi into a magnificent bow in the back if asked. Despite some logistical challenges figuring out the hotel, it is a special property and I'm giving it 5 stars because of the art, music and unique vibe.

The view is great and you can relax

This is my second time staying here.
Last time, I stayed in a spacious suite. This time, there was no room choice at the last minute, so I stayed in a standard room.
We were blessed with good weather and a beautiful view, and enjoyed strolling around the hotel and outside.
The public spaces were well-equipped, and the large communal bath was comfortable and not crowded, so we could relax and enjoy it. We didn't mind the small size of the room too much.
For dinner, we chose Japanese food this time. The dishes were seasonal and delicious, but we felt that it was a little lacking. Breakfast was satisfactory.
As with the last time, some of the staff were a little unhelpful this time, so it was a little disappointing.

Amazing room with delicious breakfast and Omakase dinner at two restaurants. You can enjoy Onsen, hot springs, for free, and some Spa services with additional fee. And some cold drinks after hot Onsen and in your room fridge are free too. You will have unforgettable experience.
