Highly recommended. Jeff was very helpful and he helped us give a ride from the station.
The house has private onsen with indoor and outside area.
The room is was big , clean , warm and comfortable.

Foreigners beware: very nosy owner

Since the moment we arrived in this hotel we've been bombarded with questions. Onsen after dinner? Before? (They don't serve dinner, so they don't need to know). Once we fixed a time for the onsen, they continued: where are you going? When will you be back? Basically following our every movement. Not sure they do this with Japanese guests. Anyway it is very unpleasant to be subjected to this kind of surveillance which borders on stalking. The following morning my husband went on an errand and the owner restarted: where is your husband? Where are you going? (Possibly with a shade of sexism too).
All in all, the place is overpriced and not relaxing at all.

Traditional Japanese hospitality

What a fabulous place. Genuine Japanese hospitality by Jeff, the host. Traditional Japanese accommodation with lovely onsen. We were here with our family, including a 2 year old and 6 month old. The 2 year old had plenty of space to run and expend energy. My son in law had some time with Jeff getting hints and information of the area. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Thankyou Jeff for being such a gracious host.

服务：老板的服务绝对满分，语言交流顺畅，而且车接车送。因为酒店距离中心有15分钟步行距离，因此拖家带口，有接送很方便。因为担心吃饭餐厅紧张，老板也很热心提供了预约餐厅服务，异国他乡很感动。
环境：旅馆布置很漂亮，也很干净，客厅旁边有简单的厨房，有一晚选择在本地超市采购，老板提供餐具锅碗瓢盆和调料。因此新增了本地人做饭吃的体验。
虽然是传统日式木质结构的门，晚上睡觉还是很安静的。
设施：温泉有2个，每个家庭分时段使用。每天换水。
本来以为公共浴室不方便，其实很方便，很整洁。
第一次写这么多的评价，也是第一次定民宿，很感谢老板为我们一家提供好的服务，老板是日本人，也通过他了解了很多日本文化。由布院之旅很完美。

사장님이 정말 친절하시구 깔끔하세요! 한적한 군부대 바로 뒤에 있어서 전 조용한게 너무 맘에 들었어요! 마트나 볼거리는 걸어서 1km라 걷기도 좋았고 사장님이 픽업서비스까지 해주셔서 넘 감동했네요! 가족탕 뜨끈하니 다같이 즐겨 더 좋았던 곳이에요 방도 넓고 침구는 폭신! 단 화장실은 공용으로 사영하는 형식입니다!
