Lovely hotel but needs better organisation
Mixed feelings here - majority of staff go out of their way to be helpful and the hotel has a fab location - however we had a series of minor inconvenience s that spoiled the overall experience.
Beds are supremely comfy and lots of details like glassware and crockery are spot on. Bathroom a little tired. Spa massage was very well done. Lovely to sit out on outside terrace in the sun in the morning. Good breakfast offering but not great if you are gluten free.

Great family stay
We stayed here recently as a family of 4 in an ocean view suite and had the most amazing time. Particular highlights:
- complimentary milk and cookies for the children in the evening
- housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping the rooms clean and the turndown service was a nice touch
- fresh milk in rooms for teas/coffees
- breakfast - food was fresh, delicious and plentiful
- the view!
Would thoroughly recommend staying here. Yes it is by a busy road but this means it has great access to the rest of the island and the beach is close by. It didn’t bother us at all!

Good hotel but noisy location
This is a really nice hotel let down by its location on a really busy road. The staff were great, the room was nice, the bathroom was pretty good and the spa was nice too but our stay was spoilt by the constant noise from the busy road that the hotel fronts onto. It was a shock how busy the road was especially given how quiet the rest of Jersey was. The air conditioning and double glazed windows helped suppress the noise in the bedroom (and the traffic did die away at night time) but we won’t be returning I’m afraid.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. Great location. Short stroll into the town. Bus stop, mini train stop and the boat to Elizabeth Castle are right outside. The staff were amazing and went out of there way to assist with our small issues. A special shout out to Star on reception.
The breakfast was supberb. So much choice both on the buffet and the menu.
Enjoyed having a drink and lunch on the outside terrace. Great views from here.
The only reason i haven't given a 5 star was due to our room. We had a back facing twin room as unable to get a sea view. The room was very tired looking with no view at all, and very noisey with the window open.
This would't put me off visiting again, but would make sure i got a seaview next time.

Beautiful quaint hotel
Amazing stay at this lovely quaint hotel. Good location for town centre and transport. The staff were absolutely fantastic and went the extra mile.From checking in to checkout. Amazing breakfast. with so much choice and plenty of everything. Request catered for. Restaurant food was of good quality and room service food was great. A bit pricey for drinks. Terrace was lovely to sit on and enjoy the view and drinks. Lovely room overlooking the sea and Elizabeth Castle. Bathroom small but, functional. Really enjoyed our stay and would come back.
