Great value for money!

Me and my friend stayed in a twin room in this guesthouse from the 8th of June until the 19th. The guesthouse is located near the subway station, also easy to get to from the airport using public transport. We loved the area, it in the middle of hongdae so we often went on walks in the evening around the neighborhood. The room itself was very clean and a lot bigger than we were expecting. We actually changed to this guesthouse last minute and we were so happy with our decision. The wifi was stable and free and for the people who are interested there is a pokestop at this guesthousel! Furthermore, the staff was very young and friendly and gave great service. I have nothing but positive things to say and would definitely come back here again.

Racist owner and dirty place

This is literally my worst tripe i ever had a nightmare, the owner is so rude and racist, the place is super dirty the toilets smells until outside disgusting humidity everywhere !!!! Please avoid this toxic atmosphere and find another property to spend a normal holiday because he ruined mine !!!!!

DON'T GO THERE!!

First off the good:
The place is cheap and located in the center of Hongdae. That's about it.
Now the bad stuff:
The place is not very clean. Showers are moldy and my (fresh) bedsheets were covered with hair. There are also lots of mosquitos, I got 5 bites in just one night.
Now THE WORST:
The day I came I accidentally chose the wrong entrance and ended up in a different room (supposed to be for other guests). I didn't know that then, so I took a quick shower and waited for a reply from the owner. I ended up finding the right dormitory. The next day the owner texts me and tells me to pay 10.000 Won for the cleaning service of the bathroom I've used (that's almost the price for a night in a dormitory but ok). He supposedly checked CCTV footage to "prove" that I used the room. He then told me to leave and find another hostel. An English-speaking manager was also extremely rude and offensive to me.
Please save up money and book a different hostel!

close to subway, great value for money, nice and clean hostel

i stayed at this guesthouse during my last trip to korea, and it was really clean and nice for a guesthouse of that value. location is close to the station too, but far away enough from the main busy area of hongdae, so you won't be affected by the noise during your sleep. the person in charge, mr hong, was very friendly and helped me carry my luggage too. thank you.

Close to subway and restaurant

Able guesthouse at center of hongdae. There have a lot of nice restaurant and street food near by. Besides that a lot of Korean famous pharmacy just within 5 min walk. Guesthouse were well equipped and breakfast was nice. They provided very delicious yogurt and juice. Is nice to stay. I like the rooftop view.
