Room and bathroom was big. Although it was up a hill and no elevator. I would come back because of all the space and area

Air conditioning not cool and remote dont work to fix.
Towels smell bad since I guess they have been used alot. Even though they are washed. They are also very small.
High humidity in room!
Also the beds are very uncomfortable and are covered with plastic wrapping. (Gets very warm during the night)
Bathroom covered in water when showering. Be sure to use slippers.
On the plus side close to everything. Emart 24/7 just outside and also a nice coffe place called sachawan. For the price its pretty much ehat should be expected. Nice common room with free coffee and laundry for 2000krw.
And also one of those electric toilets! Very big plus.

Dont waste your money, stay elsewhere

Awful. You can't swing a cat in the room. There's a kettle but no cups in the room. The whole of the bathroom floor gets soaking wet when you shower and we had the most awful smell come up through the drain in the bathroom. It might be cheap but its not worth the money. The room was boiling hot with no way to turn it down. The worst hotel ive ever stayed in. We spent 2 nights here at the beginning of our trip and were due to spend our last 2 nights there but booked elsewhere as couldn't face staying there again.

Pro: close to Myeondong, free coffee & tea, free laundry usage, easy machine check in at anytime
Con: mould smell, mosquitoes, never seen any staff around, small towel

3rd stay at The Road. Really appreciate the washing machine & dryer. When taking the bus it is better set to/from at Namsan Tunnel 3 instead of Myeongdong Station exit 4.
