Karoo visit

visited my family in Bloemfontein and stayed at Warm Karoo what a lovely place roses n breakfast on our own patio green grass and safe cars the room was great and it was just what a tired traveller needs after a long flight thanks Tanya you are an inspiration

I will not recommend Warm Karoo for travellers looking for only a stay over.
They focus more on weddings and functions.
Rooms are very disappointing and overall service were poor, except for a 5/10 breakfast.

Wonderful Breakfast @ Warm Karoo Bloem

Warm Karoo is set in a quiet and safe part of Bloemfontein with well-maintained gardens and facilities. The estate boasts function venues with impressive halls, a chapel and grounds. Our guestroom was clean and the mattress, linen and towels were of good quality. However, the bathroom, including the toilet, is open-plan, and part of the bedroom. The Nespresso coffee device, fresh milk, sugar and rusks provided added a lovely touch of luxury as did the large bottles of fragrant shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and sanitiser. Great that no single use plastics are in use. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding - flavoursome and tasty. Ideal for a magnificent breakfast, less so for accommodation.

Easy, relaxed

Designed Nice but No separate bathroom and Some flies in the room. Hospitality was super and it’s a very nice and quiet place in the middle of nature. Enough parking space as well. Unfortunately when we were there no restaurant.

Cold and dark

The room was cold and the bed did not have an electric blanket. The bedside lamps did not work.
The breakfast served in the room was a nice idea but did not work. The food was cold and no fresh coffee. No reception office is confusing. No idea what to do with the key the next morning until a garden worker informed me.
