Serendipity 608 - truly a 5-star experience
Having stayed at one of Elizianne’s self-catering units in the Blouberg Heights high-rise apartment block before, we were able to secure one of her two-bedroomed corner units, this time around on the 6th floor.
We were once again highly impressed . Wrap-around magnificent views towards Table Mountain across Table Bay, Robben Island and the beautiful Blouberg surrounds, coupled with immaculate, 5-star furnished interiors with beautiful decor, made us want to stay for much longer in the spacious Serendipity 608 unit.
Blouberg Heights is located just about on the beach, with great eateries like On the Rocks, Ons Huisie and Blue Peter restaurants virtually within walking distance. The apartment building is also conveniently located just off the West Coast main arterial road, with Bayside Mall 10 minutes drive away. Cape Town city centre can be reached within 30 minutes.
Highly recommended, and excellent value for money too.

Avoid ‘Blouberg Rentals’ for holiday accommodation!
* My credit card was incorrectly billed FOUR times instead of once. Eventually my bank’s fraud team got involved and this resulted in my credit card having to be cancelled a week before leaving Australia. The money was eventually returned to me after a mammoth slog, but it cost me a few hundred dollars for a new credit card that had to be expedited to reach me in time for my trip.
* Upon arrival, the unit that we stayed in on the 16th floor had a broken window in the apartment. It sounded like a hurricane in the apartment and I would term the place ‘uninhabitable’. Blouberg rentals concierge confirmed this was a known issue in the apartment and were surprised it wasn’t fixed. They then proceeded to stuff the broken window with dishcloths and then duck taped the dishcloths in place. This was hardly a fix and after 12 hours was already coming lose due to the wind and calls and emails have gone unanswered in a bid to fix the issue properly.
So, my recommendation is to AVOID BLOUBERG RENTALS at all costs!

Sono dei ladri, non prenotate da loro.
Purtroppo Booking.com non mi consente di scrivere una recensione su di loro perché non ho soggiornato presso la struttura.
