Hazyview base to explore the panoramic route and Krugerpark

We booked lions rock and stayed in one of the units , not the tented camp.
Used as a base to explore the panoramic route and do a self drive at Kruger.
The staff are great and the accommodation spot on.
Food was OK breakfast better than dinner
If you want to eat there they drive you down from the top to the tented camp (unless you have your own 4x4 then you can drive yourself
The complex felt safe and secure but a little tired in places (couple of derelict buildings and a disused pool)
Overall it’s a good base and excellent value for money in a quiet location 6/7 mins by car from hazyview

A River runs through it

Experience good. Grounds are uneven so not for people that my have difficulty with walking some steepness around, there is heat and A/C in tents so no worries there, food good, staff very helpful, pool clean, tents clean, grounds are beautiful

Luxury Camping at Lions Rock Rapids

We had a very pleasant stay. The tents were clean & had basic essentials. Very friendly & helpful staff. I didn't like that they provided bedding for two 3/4 beds instead of double bed arrangement. Dinner with view of the river was amazing, we were also lucky enough to watch an african dance performance afterwards. They pre-packed us a delicious breakfast since we had an early morning - this was so thoughtful. I would definitely stay there again. Overall amazing accommodation with great value for money.

Hidden Gem

The road is bumpy but great property, staff very friendly and foos is amazing. The water flowing is serine makes the stay peaceful

Pleasant stay

A stay of 3 nights in tents with an an excelent location crossed by the river Sabié with visits to the Kuger Park at about 30 minutes distance
