Good.

At first it was a misunderstanding, because I don't think they saw me and mails asking where the keys were, because I had discovered it was all automatic. However, the lady of Jeffrey's hotel spoke to them and became clear and they waited for me.The hotel is new, has everything modern, but no coffee. Thank you Sonya, I will never forget you and your husband.

Tiny bare bones apartment

Urban Plett is a tiny apartment with half a kitchen. It is VERY difficult to find from the street and just about impossible in the dark. The driveway is extremely dark, as in the walkway inside the gate to the unit. More lighting would really be helpful!!
Not all the units have showers so if you want one, be certain to request it.
Sadly no bottled water is provided and tap water is not drinkable. No coffee is provided either, not even instant coffee.
Very bare bones!

Concrete cool but not practical

When we step into the room it was well decorated but cold. Built not for practicality because no heater and the room not cosy.
Strange, it feels like a magazine shoot accommodation but doesn’t feel comfortable and we just stayed a night there.
Towels given is like a door mat so it looks cool but do not absorb water. So not sure about it and yup even the towels were not practical.. shocking.
Water showered not consistently warm as well.
For 20 days travel road trip in SA we think this is not the most warm night even though we have stayed places like chalets with no heater at -5 celsius..

Overpriced and luke warm showers

Stayed here for 3 nights in there superior apartment...One arrival we were met by Jonny the owner who was a lovely guy, he showed us round and all seemed fine. The apartment is all concrete and quite cool but travellers expect 3 things, security, clean bed and a hot shower...Now it is kinda secure but not to the levels of other places we stayed, bed was good but shower was poor. On the 1st night we had a Luke warm shower, on the 2nd night it didn't work at all so I got the owners wife and she came to have a look and said " I'm not sure what's wrong with it I've just had a lovely shower" wrong answer. Don't be telling your guests about your nice hot shower when there's isn't working. Got sorted eventually but it shouldn't be happening in the 1st place. This place is expensive and lacks decent kitchen and equipment but does have a steam cleaner, why? And it also has an electric tin opener, random. There plumbing isn't great, it's really overpriced and it seems as though they have gone more for looks than practically. There's better apartments in Plett for less money. Disappointing stay, can't really recommend it

Luke warm water

If you are judging a property purely based on look and feel then this place wins the Home and Garden Magazine award for most stylish property, if however you are a traveller with basic needs it's missing some important factors.
As a traveller whether which a suitcase in one location for a week or with a rucksack passing through you want a comfy bed and a nice hot shower, simple.
This place failed to deliver the latter on two of the three nights we stayed and was only successful on the third as we left the beach early to ensure we got back before the hot water ran out.
What made things worse was the owner telling us what a wonderfully hot shower she'd just had when we told her of our luke warm experience.
Jon is a lovely chap but needs to focus on what is important, I'd rather hot water over a toasted cheese sandwich maker and steam cleaner (random) and if you are supplying a hairdryer please provide the adaptor so we can plug it in.
