This was a pleasant surprise to me, I have never spent a night in Soweto prior to this trip so I must say this place will now become my Soweto homebase.
Great warm welcome and fabulous environment, lovely room and amenities.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Soweto Hospitality

If you want to experience true Soweto hospitality, you should stay at Marias B&B!
Quiet and clean place - and extremely friendly and helpful host Maria!
But you need your own car (or ask for private driver Sydney :-)) to get around, since the area lacks infrastructure (restaurants, shops) closeby.
For a true glimpse of Soweto - highly recommended!

En famille à Soweto

Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans ce Bed and Breakfast situé à Soweto. Cet hébergement se situe dans un quartier paisible constitué de jolies petites maisons et à proximité des nombreux sites à visiter. Les chambres étaient fort confortables et notre véhicule à l'abri dans un parking fermé.
Notre hôtesse et sa famille était fort accueillante. Nous avions réservé le dîner qui a été parfait : plusieurs entrées, viandes et légumes nous ont été servis. La qualité et la variété étaient au rendez-vous.
Nous recommandons cet établissement aux voyageurs curieux de s'imprégner de la vie du pays et de son histoire.
