Paradise!

It’s a few km’s in the countryside so don’t trust your GPS but the name is in Google Maps.
A very friendly place and a very welcoming and helpful owner, the room is big, basic but comfortable and the bed was very good. The surroundings are amazing! I just booked one night to do the Sanipass tour, but I wished I had more time to stay longer to enjoy the hospitality and landscape more.

Douglas Drift Cottage

Clean and comfortable cottage, self-catering kitchen a very short walk away. The owner offered for us to let out motorbikes sleep in his gym which was kind of him. Nice and close to Sani Pass and the local shops :)

Home away from home

We were up in Underberg to work at Sani2C so we didn't get as much time as we would have liked to enjoy this beautiful place. We had two rooms - both really comfortable and tastefully decorated, lovely linen. Craig was more than helpful and accommodating - we felt really welcome and at home. The setting was absolutely stunning as well - overlooking the river and set in beautiful gardens.

Beautiful homely feeling

Douglas the owner welcomed us,hand shake all five of us introducing himself to us,friendly guy.he showed us our rooms that were very clean.there's coffee/tea facility and fresh towels every day.Woolworths products in the bathrooms and the kitchen which I found it very classy.the weather wasn't so great it was extremely cold so the kitchen doesn't have a proper door on it,the door is panel door,to sit and have a breakfast wasn't good at all it felt like we were sitting outside.If I were him I will install the sliding door for bad weather and perhaps bar heater.but over all I will definitely go back or recommend the Douglas Drift any given time...

Excellent place near Sani Pass

When we arrived in the evening, a beatiful table was set with candles in the middle of the garden. We did a barbecue the two days. The owner was very helful, he helped us with the luggages, any we needed he was at our disposal any time ! Those details make a stay unforgetable. Incredible view on the valley ! Huge rooms and a dining room just for us !
Hot water, heater in the room we coudld not expect more but JUST PERFECT !
