This is my to-go hotel whenever we visit Douala, Cameroon. It’s clean, stylish, easy to reach, and genuinely classy, offering Western-level standards at just the right price. And the staff? Their hospitality is on another level compared to other hotels in the country. They made sure we were looked after with smiles all day long. One of my favorite parts is that they offer airport pickups and drop-offs, which made travel so much easier. I could swing by for a quick in-and-out trip without bothering family or friends, and focus on what I came here to do. Big thanks to Exotic Plaza Hotel for bringing this level of service to the country and for making our visits smoother every time. Keep it up.

Good Hotel close to Japoma Stadium
we stayed 9 nights in the hotel.
The first night in a tiny executive room, but then we got a Junior Suite, which had more space, because it has an extra sitting room and a kitchen.
Sleeping quality was fine, friends of us had a room with pool-view and disco music every night. But ours was quiet.
Rooms service was good - they are a bit stingy with towels though ;-) Clean, they provided bottled water every day.
Since the hotel was fully booked due to a conference in Japoma, the staff seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with logistics. Several times, food ran out at the breakfast buffet. But they tried their best to handle the matter.
Outstanding was the support of Sandra from the reception. Without her, we would have perhaps changed the hotel. But she did all she could to satisfy our requests. SUPER!!
Excellent was the food in the restaurant. We had dinner several times: reasonable prices, good quality, fast service. Only, English is not their favourite language, we've had some problems to communicate details.
The pool is good, but access to the pool is through the restaurant (no joke!), and directly at the restaurant. So every guest is watching you... 2 times, we had to force the staff to clean the pool, but when they did this, it was fine.

This hotel is top notch in that city. It’s very clean, the rooms are spacious, the services are beyond expectation in that city. It’s not too far from the main road, easy accessibility to other things of interest as most amenities are in the building, such as, a clean pool, great restaurant, mini shops, spa in the building etc. and the security too is very great. The entire building is beautiful and the pictures do not give justice to the actual building or rooms themselves, it looks better in person than what the pictures portray. I am looking forward to staying here anytime I am in the country or area as it’s the best I have been in since I have been in the area. Thank you Exotic Plaza Hotel for bringing the change and standard that people need.
