Great place to stay ar day or two
Lovely cabins, unreal views. It’s right on the start of the walk beside a lovely restaurant with great food.

The cabin was clean and very quaint. A radio and a sweet light were on when we entered. A small bottle of wine with paper cups greeted us. It tasted good.
The bathroom was clean with an amazing clawfoot tub. Very nice to relax in. We were able to open windows and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
The only issue were mice. They woke me up in the middle of the night. We let the staff know. They set traps after we left for the day, but we still had them the next night. Kept me & our little puppy, awake most of the night, both nights, We had our food stored in tubs and bags but that they found it. Hopefully they have mitigated the mice problem. Other wise, our stay was wonderful.

Good Value for the Area
My family stayed here five nights during July 2026. The cabin is vintage. Do not expect updated, renovated, or modern facilities; however, that is not the goal of the property. There is an intentional feel of a back in time atmosphere with antique cars scattered throughout the grounds. We were able to get one night free by paying for four nights, a rare perk in an expensive tourist area. The water is glacier-fed and comes out of the pipes ice cold and delicious. Staff were helpful and friendly. We borrowed a couple of movies to enjoy in the evenings, a free service provided by management. I did not expect the free internet to work consistently, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it did.
The real star is the location. We were able to easily access Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, and the Icefields Parkway. When we wanted to walk Johnston Canyon, we did so in the early evening without needing to compete with the crowds of the day. When driving to and from the cabin, we frequently enjoyed wildlife sightings including black bears and big horned sheep. All in all, I would recommend this complex as a good base for exploration of the area.

When we wanted to walk Johnston Canyon, we did so in the early evening without needing to compete with the crowds of the day. When driving to and from the cabin, we frequently enjoyed wildlife sightings including black bears and big horned sheep. All in all, I would recommend this complex as a good base for exploration of the area.

(May 26th) Greatest Water service ever
I went with some friends to the restaurant in May and the poutine was good for its price but a little expensive overall. But the main event was the spectacular service we had. I ordered a water and never went more than two minutes without a refill!! Would recommend solely off the service
