Book Superior instead of Standard

Good Hotel for a cheap rate. Very good Location.
We had a Standard room. All Standard rooms are interior rooms which are facing the Indoor Pool. You cant open the Windows to get fresh air. You could smell the pool a bit in the room. Interior was old.
We saw a Superior room as well and can recommend to book a Superior room. With this rooms you are facing the Mountains. The interior was much nicer here.
The staff is super friendly.

This is probably the best question I have seen. It was comfortable, and the amenities were useful without being over the top. The staff bus friendly and quite helpful. Would love to stay here again.

Stayed one night at Rundlestone Lodge . The location is convenient and staff were friendly, but the property itself feels quite dated and could use a refresh. For the price point, the overall quality didn’t quite match — decent for a short stay, but I’d expect more given the cost in this market.

Amazing trip in Banff. Loved the added buses to get around. It was an added feature that didn’t exist 30 years ago, the last time I visited Banff. Great trip and great hotel!

Very nice hotel. Service was excellent. I spent a couple of hours in the lobby while my wife slept from a very early morning tour and the front desk were very helpful to every guest and I could hear them making calls on guest’s behalf to set things up. Very nice.
We got a card for free public transportation and another card to redeem at the restaurants of local hotels for $15 each day, which helped with breakfast. Underground parking was free as well, not so at some of the other hotels we stayed at.
The pool was very nice - enter through the gym, then go into the changing room, there's a door all the way at the back to enter the pool. It's a bit confusing at first.
The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were supportive. We slept very well and the room was very quiet. We appreciated the heavy blackout curtains since it's daylight most of the time.
I usually hook up a Roku to the TV when I travel, however some hotels make it impossible to change inputs. Not so here. There's daily maid service without asking which is appreciated.
The hotel is located at the start of the main street which is nice because downtown is heaving with people, and the bus service is frequent and free.
I would definitely stay again.
