Overall a great place. Right on the water. But it could be kind of busy especially on the weekends along the waterfront. The breakfast was overall pretty good. The only downside was the parking. Although they did have some on site, you had to pay a little over $20 a day and it was so busy you struggled to find any parking. Had a backup spot about a block down the road but still kind of annoying.

Would not stay again - look at this room!

I stayed here Jan 2026 on business because I’d stayed 2 years prior and had a really good experience. This year was quite different! Staff was not friendly, my room had a broken window, broken window shades, stains and burn marks in the carpet and a tile falling off in the bathroom. The room was clean otherwise at least. The parking is expensive and the price increased quite a bit. The breakfast was stale and cold (at 7:30am). The hash browns were so hard you couldn’t even cut through them with a knife. Beautiful location though and while I was really looking forward to my second stay here - I would not stay here again. For almost $200 a night, I would at least expect a room that didn’t have so much damage! I could have complained and moved rooms but I’d already unpacked before I noticed half the damage. I reported it to staff right away so I didn’t get blamed for it. They simply shouldn’t be selling that room for full price / should repair it. Staff could at least pretend to be friendly at a minimum.

The outside of the hotel and the location is absolutely amazing but they put us in the lower level with the pool and what not as soon as you go into the room there’s like a smell no amount of AC health to get rid of that smell also the bathroom tub needed to be renovated because it was gross like water coming out of the bottom
Plus, they charge for parking in Burlington. We parking is free on the streets just for people that are visiting.

The staff are pleasant. The hotel is good. Only issue was trying to figure out how to work air-conditioning in room.

My room was excellent, well kept, enough toiletries and coffee pods. Breakfast not the greatest but it was OK. There is a bar restaurant attached to the hotel -the Port House, with good foods, great views and excellent service.
I couldn't use the pool, it was closed, apparently they had to do a throughout cleaning because too many children the day before... Gross...so good thing I didn't use it. This is excellent choice, good value, right on the Harbour, unbeatable news and location, just 10 min drive from GO train.
