Beautiful and quiet.

We were on motorcycles and found we had to travel 12-14 km's on a dirt road but the road was good.
We called for a room the only thing left was a Chalet, Glad for that because it was awesome. Nice people and very clean. Chalet had 2 bedrooms, living and kitchen area and l deck to sit out on. No internet but we didn't mind.

Avoid.

We arrived early and hoped to check in but were told we had to wait until 3 pm. The receptionist was cold and uninterested. We thought we might take a short hike and she said to just follow the road and we’d see signs for a short hike. The road — very remote — branched three ways. We tried all three options to no avail. The road was a very rough dirt road which I don’t mind, but there was nothing resembling a trail. I mentioned this when I returned. She was on the phone and ignored me standing there for several minutes. This place calls itself a sort of mountain outdoor center but provides no info on how to best enjoy the mountains. We decided to forfeit the cost and move on. The only place on the Gaspe where we’ve had anything other than a friendly experience.

Very isolated and clean. Dear

Spacious room but not luxury. Nice welcome. The place is accessible after 15km of slopes. We are very isolated and so it is quiet and relaxing with a nice view. Restaurant and breakfast ok but not Awarded. Final conclusions mixed.

Terrible from A to Z

We were at the Village Nature Chic Chocs hostel on July 11, 2021, We had to do a 13 km in the gravel and filled with potholes, not easy in the car, the receptionist was laughing at us when we arrived, I found him a bit arrogant, because it took us 65 minutes in this hellish road, We arrive at our room, old chairs, old table, no TV,no Air conditioning, no internet access, but for all this is indicated on their site to book a room, In addition a dog barks constantly under our window, it is the dog of the cook who finishes at 9 pm, the walls are not insulating, we can hear everything that is happening in the corridors and the rooms adjacent to ours. terrible experience Note that it does not mention that there are 13 kilometers to do on uneven and brutal gravel for a car. over 8 of their 12 QUAD BIKE are broken, and to go hiking in the mountains, we have to turn back the 13km of gravel, and come back and forth, that makes it 52km in this hellish road. , so we left after the first night! Terrible place, . But I will say very nice vue, a place good for hunter or at/ quad or snowmobile fans

A stop on the winter snowmobile route

We stayed in a standard room in the lodge. It had plenty of room for all of our winter gear to dry overnight. Room was clean and very quiet we had a good sleep. There were a bunch of people in the hotel so the kitchen was open. We bought the package which included the choice between two dinners (I would not recommend the Osso Bucco) and a breakfast buffet the next day. It was a cold night and we did not inquire about the hot tub. Upon arrival we had to go to the lounge to find someone to check us in but we were booked in right away. There is a small room off the dinning room with a fireplace that is nice to sit in chat and relax if you can get them to turn off the television as it seems to double as the living room for staff. There is a large garage you can pay extra to park your sled in but it is not so warm that ice will melt off the sled overnight. We did not have a problem following the signage from town after fuelling but another group had some difficulty finding the place.
