Spacious, clean, convenient accommodation on the Cabot Trail.

Two bedroom cabin on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Everything needed in kitchen. Clean and comfortable with chairs for sitting on front porch. Convenient to pub for music and food. Friendly staff available to help if needed. TV with basic channels and WIFI access.

strategic positioned towards Cabot Trail

I feel like I've been transported to a Dirty Dancing summer camp. Except I'm not in a forest, but at a campsite.
These are typical houses, everything is there, the houses are big, but they don't feel comfortable. The beds serve their purpose, but they sag and squeak. There is enough space to hang up your clothes (there are only open rods hanging from the ceiling). The bathroom is good and has enough space. The kitchen is huge, but you would have to buy everything to cook. The living room is uncomfortable, we sink into the couch, the TV is a little too small, the WiFi is virtually non-existent (“this is not in our hands” – well, it is your responsibility to get this fixed!), we download our streams elsewhere.
But there are also positive things to report: very nice and quiet location, you can see parts of the sea, the houses are conveniently located for the villages and most restaurants are within walking distance. However, the strategically convenient location for the Cabot Trail is important, and in addition to the accommodations that are already closed (off-season), you pay for this location.
Nevertheless, we did not regret this location and our choice of hotel. There is potential to make much more of it.

Nice stay

Cute chalets, basic furnishings, immaculately kept. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice surrounding grounds. Parking next to chalet. Very convenient if you want to explore the National Park. The only problem was an abundance of pesky mosquitoes!

Excellent stay

Stayed with a friend. Staff is very friendly, ideal location close to everything, kitchen is supplied with everything you need, big clean bathroom. Beds a bit hard but not terrible. For the price it's actually perfect.

Nice cottages, friendly staff

Stayed one night while visiting Cabot Trail. They upgraded as a bigger cottage had a cancelation. The staff were really friendly and we had a great time. Basic cottage, but clean and quiet. Will come back again next time we're up this way.
