Excellent and attentive reception staff arranging to extend our room unexpectedly. Very helpful maid service happily provided extra towels and toiletries.
We had a clean comfortable room with microwave and fridge. It was very quiet because we were next to the pool, which is quite a soundproof area. I appreciated the very good ergonomic desk chair and reliable wifi while working. I enjoyed the coffee and tea station, especially the the iced lemon water over our 4 day stay.
Breakfast was from 6:30-9:30: simple self-serve, but plentiful, with hot scrambled eggs, sausages, waffle maker, bread and bagels, cereals, fruit and yogurt. And constant good coffee, thank goodness!
The hot-tub and fitness centre are a good size and basic, but clean and in good shape. Lots of families enjoyed the pool over this hot July week, but it never seemed crowded. The sound was well contained. We were in the room next door to the pool and fitness area, and it was extremely quiet for us all week.
They have a good little business centre with seperate meeting rooms, but we weren't there for business. It appeared they could accommodate small workshops, board meetings, etc...
Plenty of free well-lit parking right up front and along the side entrances. The front is nicely kept, but exterior back parking lot is unkempt, with a pile of old furniture and a mattress to complete the vibe. Likely waiting for garbage pick-up?
The location is handy, next to Food Basics, Walmart, shops, 5 min to hospital

The room was tired and in major need of updating. The curtains were hanging down as in broken. The closets were useless and dirty, meaning once you opened the rickety bifold door, it was near impossible to get it shut and it was dusty and dirty inside the closet. The room came with only one roll of toilet paper, the towels, which there were only a few, were thread bare and some of them stained. The pillows were useless and I can only imagine how old. The bed was like a flat rock to sleep on. The fridge made a loud vibration noise for the first day and night, which was annoying. The 2nd night we had a noisy neighbor on the 2nd floor, pacing their floor with shoes on for over and hour, starting at 1030pm.
We stayed there 8 years ago and it was old, but clean and usable, this time we were seriously grossed out, but there is no other hotel to stay in this particular area. Also they rent it out to construction workers, so at night if you don't get there in time, the parking spots are taken up by the construction trucks. They charge a lot of money for this place, because they can, because there is no other place to stay in this area, unless you travel for 30 or more minutes. It should be called the NO Quality Inn. Please fix it up or build another!

Everything was fine but the fridge hummed, sounding like cooing doves. A staff member came and turned it down so it stopped but it started up again shortly after. We couldn’t hear it in the bedroom.

They gave us room 215 , sink was leaking from
The bottom , there was blood stains on the duvet , room had a bizarre odor. We spoke to the owner (Asian guy) when we checked out. And he didn’t seem to care the only thing he said was “what you want me to do” very unprofessional never coming back here again and never going to any choice hotels.

We have stayed at this Hotel a number of times. This time we were booked into our ground floor King room, and this room was of a lesser quality. The TV we could not figure out since it was one of those "smart TV" with no instructions, other than the guide for normal TV which did not exist. We had to bring in the Front Desk person to show us how to watch TV. Our last room had a regular TV set-up with channels. Our room also had no Toilet paper when we arrived. That is the first time that happened. We had to once again go to the front desk to get us some. The arm chair in our last room was much more comfortable than the cheaper chair our our room this time, but was still functional. The room was fine enough, with Fridge/Freezer and Microwave, and very clean. Other than those items above, the room is great for a 1 night stay. The Hot Breakfast is always nice. The hotel needs to take the butter though out of the fridge. Hard to spread Hard Butter.
