A memorable stay at Auberge West Brome

My husband and I often spend a fun day in the Eastern Townships as there is much to do... wineries, spas, restaurants, nature walks. We live only 90 minutes away so we usually drive back home at the end of the day. This time, we decided to spoil ourselves and booked the romantic package at the Auberge West Brome, which included massages, supper and breakfast for both of us as well as a beautiful room...along with a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate-covered strawberries for a special treat.We enjoyed every minute! Our massage with Genevieve was excellent, and because our appointments at the spa were in the morning, Kim at the reception desk kindly allowed us to check in early which allowed us to really enjoy the facilities It was a blissfully hot day and we loved hanging out at the pool, which was in a fabulous large bright solarium. The hot tub was also very large and had so many different options... And the view! It was heavenly. Supper was also excellent and they were great about accommodating allergies. The lamb was among the best I have ever tasted. After a wonderfully comfortable sleep, we enjoyed watching all the birds as we ate a very generous and delicious breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this auberge if you are looking to explore the area.

Intimate and gourmet.

Warm welcome, delicious restaurant, renovated room, heated pool, whirlpool, calm and intimate place. We each received two treatments at the spa .
We want to make this a tradition to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

room was big and clean, as expected for the price. however, the fireplace is cheap, tv is tiny, and the walls are paper thin. we clearly heard coughing, light chatter, and snoring throughout the night.
there was lots of ice around the property, very dangerous for less mobile folk
nothing complimentary in terms of in room water/beverages, or snacks (besides coffee+creamers)
we found it interesting that breakfast was not included, which is surprising for a 300+$ room. when we booked we didn’t see a “food package” which apparently is a thing for this place that we needed to opt in for breakfast. not even some complimentary cereals or pastries for guests in the morning hey?… crazy. these little details make all of the difference for some guests, and cost the property next to nothing.
won’t be going back, other auberge locations in the area are far more generous to guests.
to be fair the gym is VERY well equipped (and clean), the pool/spa area is nice (and clean) - so this place might be an option if those things are important to you. the cleaning staff are very good at their jobs.

You will be pleasantly surprised!

We had a wonderful stay! Very friendly staff and nice amenities; especially enjoyed the sauna, hot tub, and pool to unwind after a day of skiing. The breakfast was especially delicious and the room was quite generous and comfortable. We will return for sure!
