Staff was great, showing parking areas and tips and tricks for a perfect stay. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but their is plenty of places nearby at walking distances.

Bad Reception, damp cold Room, NO USB port, NO Elevator, NO Temperature Controls, NO Assistance, No Courtesy

Unfortunately the woman at the front desk was very abrasive, rude, even hostile in her tone and wording. I would never return to this hotel. This front desk woman who checked me in was the rudest, meanest desk clerk ever in my life.
Refused to help with luggage even though their website says they help because there is no elevator, and I had a small wheelie, and she
Hung up on me when I called for directions. She yelled at people waiting to check in.
Took away my parking and the promises the man at the desk at 7 am promised me ( to check out at 1:30 Instead of noon, and his offer of free parking, which I did not request). Another guest noted in her review that this woman working the front desk threatened to charge her double for breakfast, telling her she ate too much. Not standard and not courteous, right?

This is the third time we have stayed at Auberge de la Fontaine, and as always, we were incredibly pleased with the accommodations. Our room was clean and nicely decorated with a lovely view of the park. The location is ideal, and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. This is our go-to hotel when visiting Montreal.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Great location, and convenient to great restaurants. Loved being across the street from the park.
