A nice hotel, a few minutes from downtown Montréal. Clean and comfortable with onsite parking. Just watch out for the 15 minute parking sign at the front of the hotel. This does not apply during weekdays as it us in a bus lane. Go straight to the underground parking lot or risk getting a ticket.

Great location! Walking distance to the Bell Centre, the Metro, Atwater Market, Rue Crescent. The staff were very helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Highly recommend.

A Nice and Pleasant Stay!
I stayed here due to travelling to see my son off for his year of study at McGill ...the hotel is aesthetically beautiful but there were a few issues with the air conditioning and also with the telephone in my room. But, with all that said, any issues that were raised were addressed immediately by staff.
However, there was one rude staff member, from housekeeping, who was asked to return to vacuum my room - it was very dusty and moreso underneath the bed - she made it very clear that she wasn't happy. Her passive aggressive behaviour was a little concerning with the vacuum being pulled and tugged all over the room - she, who shall remain nameless, had grey braids/plaits.
That was the only disappointing aspect to this stay. I would stay here again, but perhaps try a different room to the one I stayed in on this trip.

Truly a terrible experience.
Unfortunately my experience was absolutely terrible. I got in at midnight and wasn't asleep until 2 because my room had to be switched twice. There were bright lights outside the building shining directly into the room and the blinds did nothing. Then when I was moved to the next room, the battery in the door lock was broken so I had to stand outside the door for ages waiting for assistance and even the staff couldn't open in. Finally they got me into a room but it took forever to get this assstance and it was tons of up and down.
There was supposed to be breakfast and free parking included in my stay as I am expedia VIP, but i was never given the voucher/coupon. The breakfast was terrible, stale eggs and sausage, bacon, flies on the boiled eggs. I figured no big deal, it's free so it's fine. Then as I'm checking out I see they are trying to charge me $27 for this breakfast (MORE than is listed on their expedia listing). I felt like such a Karen and never do this but I asked to speak to the manager. He was rude, dismissive and cold. Continously interrupted me and had zero interest in assisting me. I respectfully asked if he could please comp the breakfast even if he wasn't aware it was supposed to come with the reservation given the calamity, and he refused. He truly could not have been more rude. I will make sure to tell my friends visiting Montreal to never stay here.

Regarding breakfast, your reservation was made through Expedia, a third-party booking platform. The room rate on your reservation did not include complimentary breakfast, and our staff can only provide the services and inclusions specified on the reservation. Being an Expedia VIP does not automatically mean that breakfast is included with every rate or reservation. If breakfast is included, this must be clearly indicated in the specific booking details.
We also find it concerning that, during your stay, you indicated that if we did not provide breakfast free of charge, you would leave a negative review. We believe that using the threat of a negative review in an attempt to obtain a complimentary service is not an appropriate or fair way to resolve a disagreement.
We also respectfully disagree with your characterization of our staff as rude and dismissive. Our team works hard to assist our guests professionally and courteously. Our many previous guest reviews provide a much broader representation of our staff and the service we provide.
We are sorry that you experienced difficulties with the rooms and door access during your stay, and we understand that this was frustrating, particularly after arriving late at night. However, our staff did make efforts to assist you and resolve these issues.
Finally, regarding breakfast, we do offer a substantial buffet breakfast with a variety of items for our guests. We regret that the breakfast did not meet your personal expectations, but we do not believe it is fair to characterize the entire experience as “terrible” based on a disagreement over a charge that was not included in your reservation.
We respect your opinion, but we also ask that reviews be fair, factual, and based on the actual terms of the reservation and the overall service provided. We welcome genuine constructive criticism, but we do not believe guest reviews should be used as leverage to obtain complimentary services.
