Peaceful location on the beautiful St John River. Private apartment with use of hot tub and kayaks. We saw eagles, beavers, ducks, geese, kingfishers and a beautiful sunset. Delicious fresh breakfast with homemade jam, waffles, fresh fruit and muffins. Gardens and grounds were beautiful. Highly recommend this family owned B&B.

Amazing property & owners! They had exceptional hospitality. The hot tub was perfect after our long ski day. The pool table was such a nice addition. We can’t wait to return in the summer time. Thank you again for everything I highly recommend. The homemade breakfast was delicious.

This property is remarkable in so many ways. The couple that run it are very nice and hospitable. The building is constructed of beautiful wood with very apropos decor. The setting and view is stunning! We were both very happy with the breakfast. Our only regret is that we did not have enough time to spend there. Allow for multiple nights, if possible.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Strong Timbers. We had the entire lower level of the home to ourselves, complete with a private patio, our own hot tub, and direct access to the beautiful St. John River.
We spent time kayaking and paddle boarding, and even spotted eagles overhead. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and their sweet dog Denali added a special touch to the experience. Everything was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully set up — and breakfast each morning was delicious.
A perfect mix of comfort, nature, and privacy. Highly recommended!
