Making improvements!

I was greeted at the front desk by a friendly, helpful woman and given the key to Room 7. The room was perfectly clean, many items look completely renewed, and the bed was so comfortable I lay down and didn’t move from my position all night.
There are some minor imperfections, including a couple of spots where the drywall repair has not been sanded down and painted, and there’s a note on the door not to run more than one appliance (ie microwave, coffeemaker, kettle) at once or the breaker will blow, but the note also provides the phone number for the front desk if you need help with anything.
The breaker is in the room, covered cutely by a print, so if you’re comfortable with DIY you could probably solve any electrical issues yourself.
The place is a work in progress but it’s in much better condition than previous reviews have advised.

Surprise interior

Don’t let the exterior fool you. Our accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Tiny room, but it had everything we needed

Pleasantly Surprised

Very pleasant staff upon check-in/check out. Pleasantly surprised with the room (#3). It appears recent renos were completed throughout. Shower pressure was a little low, but adequate. I would have given this place a 5/5, but their was some noise from other rooms, so not great soundproofing. Other than that... fantastic!

Hidden gem

This motel was much more than I expected. Nothing fancy but it was clean and comfortable. We stayed in room H on the second floor so that we could have 2 queen size beds. The beds and linen were both very comfortable. The efficiency unit was well equipped with dishes and appliances. We would definitely recommend this modest motel. The staff/owners were very nice. They even helped us carry our bags out to our vehicle when we were leaving. Excellent service.
