We'll be back!

Flexible location with ease of travel throughout the city. Our room had a fully stocked kitchenette with seating for eating, comfortable furniture for lounging, comfortable bedding, and a fully stocked bathroom with a very large shower and toiletries included. The room was considerably quiet even though we were next to the ice machine and across the hall from an elevator. The room and the common areas were clean and well maintained. Quick access to wifi with no issues. We did not get to use the pool, fitness area or restaurant; however, all looked inviting. The front desk staff were all business; however, a warm greeting and smile goes miles in good memories. First time at this location as we have used another hotel in the downtown core for years. Appreciated the abundance of parking at no additional cost. The option for room service by request between 9:00 - 2:00 was also convenient. Will definitely return to this Best Western location on our next visit. Pricing was reasonable.

The AC was set to operate at a certain temperature and the room was very hot. I could not sleep the whole night. I went downstairs at the front desk at 4:00 a.m. in the morning to request that the AC be turned up so I can get a sleep. The person at the help desk could not fix the AC. I also asked for a pedestal fan to help me cool down but they was none given.
My whole next day was wasted because I could not get any sleep and I really had some important business meetings to attend

Good for our budget and easy drive to downtown. Enjoyed the gym and the stay. Didn't like the fact that people we standing around smoking which i wasn't happy about. Aside from that, everything was as expected.

Highly Recommend

An affordable and clean hotel just outside the downtown core. Cab fare was only $20 to parliament. All staff members were friendly, welcoming and professional. The room was spotless, and comfortable. The restaurant on site had daily specials, and the food was fresh and delicious. The outdoor pool was well kept with an appropriate temperature. The hotel is directly across from a 24hr Shoppers Drug Mart in case you need anything during your stay. The staff immediately identified a concern with the room, to which the manager demonstrated superior customer service. Our stay was a 10 out of 10, and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Will NOT be back.....

The staff here are AMAZING....however the organization is failing HARD.
We were overcharged for our room....being billed $1100 when the room in total was less then $400. We tried to correct the error before it was made and was told that they could not help us and proceeded to bill us for a third time! Even 3 days later they were unable to correct it (waiting to see if it gets resolved)
Breakfast was not included, and the room was hot...with limited ability to control it from the room...when we called the front desk for them to send someone they would only turn it down by 2 degrees despite a medical condition in the room that required it to be lower.....
Overall, I miss the days when a company was grateful for your business oppose to conducting themselves as if they are doing you a favour.
We travel a fair bit and will not be returning....we will resume trying to use AirBnB's and support the little guy....
